dannybomb:Hi, With an HND, the program qualification u can go for is a Post Graduate Certificate (PG. Cert). in Canadian Colleges If you can mention what u studied in your polytechnic, then members in house can be able to suggest programs u can go for, and note that the program u can go for must relate/align with what you studied or Job you are doing that is not related to what u studied in school (work experience) As regards Affordability , Education in Canada is not cheap, you have to be financially ready. After showing proof of funds for TUITION of over $14,000 CAD (depending on the program), u av to show availability of $10,000 CAD for your One year living Expenses (compulsorily) |

Hello people, Una Good evening o. As the procedure advised, I have followed this thread from the first to now 521, I have read every single page and trust me I have learnt on here more than my days in any other online research. I am a 24years old going for an undergraduate program at the University of Saskatchewan(Admitted) I have no previous post-secondary school program, I did a professional course, of course, by Google earlier this year. Over the study gap, i have been doing social media page managing and web manager, not related to my course, been doing it to keep up. I am a self sponsor. I'm getting ready documents for a study permit, pls I need all the necessary advice, criterion and things to put together orderly. @lekiboboe @frankbrobbn1 I have read and seen your good handiwork in helping prospective candidates, Mine will not pass you by. Pls i need your help. It will end in Praise. Amen |

Hello bro, The process has been haphazard and it seems VFS Abuja and Lagos are on the different service wavelengths. However, what has been established so far are: 1. The process of passport return takes minimum of 2 weeks from when you send to VFS till they send a notification that your package has been received back from IRCC 2. Once you get that notification, try to reach them on phone to prompt a follow up email from them which contains the consent form and payment details. It seems the new fare of N12,750 was effective November 1, 2020. So for those who sent their passports this month, they are likely to pay that amount. Please note that this mail could drop in your junk or spam box, so always check that. The new consent form has a space for inputting the address you want your documents sent to... Therefore, if you just sent your passport under two weeks, you’ll have to calm down and wait for the notification/message from VFS/IRCC. In fact, once you get the ‘do not reply’ message from IRCC which shows details of your counter foil, then it means the TRV has been stamped and passport about to be sent back to VFS. Hope this helps... P.S: Pardon any typos...had to rush this... Lekiboboe: |

If you submitted your passport in the last week of October, you should’ve received notification from VFS by now. Have you received an approval message in your GC key account? If you haven’t, then IRCC hasn’t stamped your passport yet. That’s the first indication... If you got a mail from IRCC, then try to get VFS on phone tomorrow. It’s not an easy task though,.. I am sure that the 12,750 or 11,310 isn’t just courier fees alone...perhaps, it includes payment to VFS for being the conduit between applicants and IRCC. In any case, it’s important to get the email from VFS detailing the amount to pay. I’ll advise people to check their spam boxes. Lekiboboe: |

Hi guys. I know this has probably been answered before but is it possible for someone who graduated with a third class to pursue a masters in Canada or you have to pursue the PGD/PG first? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Lekiboboe: 9:52am On Nov 15, 2020 |
SwayB:From Posts made in this forum about your question Its PG. Cert first, then if u have very good grades you can den pursue a Masters |

Dampops:Dear Bleep, The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. xxxx has been received from the IRCC Office on 11/12/2020 11:09:35 AM and will be dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre where you applied or at the courier address provided by you at the time of submission of your application. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do not reply to this email. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the “Buy Services” page of the VAC website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC Regards, VFS Global Does this mean I will have to pay the 12k regardless of the 2-way courier that I paid to DHL? I haven’t received the form yet from Vfs and payment instruction, what should I do? |
