Since you've got a background in Business and a little knowledge of DBMS, why don't you look at something related to Management Information Systems. Read extensively on it, then if you like it, look for courses that are similar to that scope (mostly in Business schl)..

Yeah. I did MIS as a course also in school. But I can't find schools doing MIS in Dublin or Limerick

Accounting and Finance also sells once you can cope on the program and have few years work experience.
There is PG in IT for those without IT background likewise PG Accounting.

Duration is 1 year at 12000 euros.
Automatic 1 year work permit.

MSc Business Analytics ain't bad as well.

Accounting is a no go area for me. Business analytics is the better option here.

Boss, if I decide to do a PG of an IT course, can I work while studying?

Secondly, what if I have no sponsor, can I sponsor myself? I also want cheap schools or schools that gives some percentage as waivers

Good evening guys,

Does Business Analytics involves vigorous programming? I don't really like programming

Thanks

You can work while studying
20 hrs per week but due to covid19, things hard now
Most places are locked up and few jobs that are available needs someone to work full-time.

Hi, you don't need to be good at coding to have a career in analytics. But yes a minimal proficiency of tools such as Python/ R, SQL are required to have a career in Analytics. Otherwise, how would you play with Data?

So, if you're really serious about BA, you might want to take some online courses in Python or R and SQL and see if you can cope, or not. Be open minded while doing this.

Well, there are actually. DBS has a program in Information Systems, but you need to have an UG degree in IT or IS. However, I do not really know if that would rule you out, maybe @ICasNg can answer that.

On the other hand, schools like UCC and NUIG have courses related to Information Management in their business schools, and do not require prior knowledge of IT, but they are quite expensive (tuition). They are conversion programs.

Maybe, BA would be a better option for you as it's done in quite a number of business schools in Ireland. At the end of the day, the best decision still boils down to you. What do you want for yourself, and what best suits you.

Maybe I should just take up some online basic analytics courses prior to when I'll be coming. Thanks for your response boss

Definitely you can apply for a top-up degree. Depending on your grade, you get 1-2 years top up.

Cheers

Explanation of lump sum can be embedded in your sponsorship letter or you could have a separate letter for that- the most important thing is that all lump sum should b explained with proof -e.g Proceeds from sale of landed property or share dividends or Treasury bills etc-include all necessary proof backing sum lump sums

Your response is right on point- Nothing more to add ; DBS may however accept a different background if there is at least 1 year professional work experience in an IT role

If a visa is approved and an email is sent , oftentimes they specify that your visa has been approved if otherwise, they may just say a decision has been made. Overall, I hope its good news.

Please house,I got a visa refusal letter on the 16th of September 2020, with a chance for an appeal
I submitted my appeal on the 16th of November 2020( within two months of the appeal) as stated in the letter and with all the required additional documents
But surprised to see my visa application number here on refused list of visa decisions from 16th to 23rd November

Please can you clarify this for me ,I want to know if my visa appeal wasn't even considered or not
Thanks

Cant provide comprehensive guidance as confidential information is needed for me to understand e.g how.much your mum earns, how much is closing in her account, other means of livelihood, duration of loan repayment

Hello everyone. Thanks for info shared so far. I am now in ireland. I came with Emirates. I had do a covid test which was checked at Lagos airport. I took 2 bags each 23kg and I took food stuff. No one asked at all throughout the journey. They also asked if I had filled the locator form so I had to do it online and show them. It takes about 2 mins to fill, not complex at all. We stopped in dubai for about 3 hours then straight to dublin.
On arrival in Dublin immigration, the lady asked for my passport indicator form only. They have a manual one I also fill. She didnt even ask for the one I did online. They didn't even ask me for anything concerning my school. That's my own story.
Please I want to ask, I was able to use my first bank domicillary visa card here in the atm Dublin but the charges no he here o. What's the way around it because I loaded fx in my card to prevent me from travelling with more than 10k euro. How can I avoid these charges here?

1. Get a new offer for 2021 if changing school
2. Pay tuition and defer to 2021
