The drugs might not be expired but also know that people react differently to certain medications due to either health complications or other medical history. You don't just force drugs down people's throats and force them to swallow That school should be closed down permanently

Regular deworming drugs at appropriate doses can't do such, except there is already an established history of such in the particular individual.

Proper autopsy ought to have been carried out before making silly assumptions and creating unnecessary bad blood... A harmful drug won't kill only 2 out of several hundreds without others being hospitalized or showing ill symptoms at the very least.

These kids could have been poisoned prior to ingesting the meds or after.

Just so FG can embezzle funds they had to come up with this exercise running into billions according to them oh.. what concerns the FG with deworming ?, Is it a priority ?. And mind you that drug can be bought with as low as 100naira.

More sensitization on deworming should be carried out concerning schistomiasis which causes blood in urine and contamination of fresh water bodies by same. Though I heard the adverts but many don't listen enough.

When we were young, my brother would go to swim at a river close to our house. He was as alarmed as I am when he was passing blood with urine... He was taken to a hospital, treated and well. He definitely never ever went to swim there anymore after he learnt that he got it from there!

Nothing to be alarmed over this. Any child to take this drug successfully should have eaten food like EBA. Not rice, spaghetti, beans or even indomie.

That's why I gave strict warning to the proprietor of my child's school...Never and never would they administer anything to my kids at my absence...Be it immunization or drugs....I have to be there to scrutinize the entire process... Most time, I turn it down after which I would buy and give to them.

The behavior of these people in question shows nonchalancy and also one of the kids didn't want the drug. All evidences point at the drug not the well water even the headline says so.

If the drugs are administered as required, there shouldn't be any issue.

The two pupils affected are from the same compound. One has a history of diarrhea at the hospital... I'm looking at cholera,not deworming drugs
