BREAKING!!! Umahi’s Defection : PDP Suspends 3 Senators, 5 Lawmakers, Others

The People's Democratic Party, PDP, has suspended three Senators and five House of Representatives members over Anti-Party activities, Igbere TV reports.

In a statement made available to IGBERE TV by PDP Chairman, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi said the three Senators are Senator Sam Egwu, Senator Michael Ama Nnachi, Senator Obinna Ogba.

The House of Representatives members suspended include, Hon. Chukwuma Nwanzunku, Hon. Sylvester Ogbaga, Hon. Livunus Makwe, Hon. Idu Igariwey, Hon. Victor Aleke, Hon. Chris Usulor and others.

The party further invited them to appear before its disciplinary Committee to defend themselves over the allegations on Friday, 20th November, 2020.

IGBERE TV had reported that Umahi officially decamped to All Progressives Congress, APC and boasted that there will be no PDP again in the State.

Umahi's brother Austin Umahi is the South East Zonal PDP chairman. Another Umahi's brother Maxwell Umahi is also Zonal PDP Exco. Umahi left these men in PDP as moles to either destabilize or hijack the Party.
But PDP NWC was smart to have dissolved the exco immediately. Now the dissolved Umahi's camp in their dreams decided to suspend all the National Assembly members and members of the new exco set up by National PDP who refused to decamp with Umahi.
Umahi's plan was to hijack both PDP and APC in the State. Just today, immediately after his defection, APC dissolved it's State exco and appointed Umahi's commissioner as APC chairman in the State. He runs the State as family business so he wants to hijack the two parties.
APC bigwigs like the Hon Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu who is from Umahi's LGA and Senator Sunny Ogbuoji APC 2019 Governorship candidate in Ebonyi did not attend Umahi's welcome party today. These men know Umahi better. The real fight has begun in Ebonyi APC because Umahi is too domineering to a fault. Time shall tell.

The suspension is by the Ebonyi PDP Executive who are loyal to David Umahi. Dont forget that, these guys were disbanded timeously, by the National Organ of the party (PDP), the same day David Umahi defected to the APC.
The disbanded exco is simply trying to vent their frustration on the lawmakers over their stands in the Umahi's debacles

This is the reason #EndSARS reloaded need to be activated immediately because these politicians never learned anything. Imagine this same old template of a defecting governor still want to hold on to his alma mater party to completely obliterate it is what Umahi is practicing in Ebonyi so in d end have a unitary Govt without opposition. Umahi moved to APC and kept his political Scion to remain in PDP to destabilize and destroy it by sanctioning those who didn't move to APC with Umahi. We might have our issues with Wike and his affront on d Igbos but anything to enthrone a one party status is highly repugnant to me. U have moved to APC, no problem, don't suffocate PDP
