Agreed
If left for me I will only make adjustment in rohr's contract and make the sport director and technical adviser of the super eagles just like the role of cech in Chelsea ....while i find a real head coach for the SE
When, now you are talking. The man has reached his limits, the team isn't moving forward under him. Na so so draw draw, e don tire person jare.

Rohr as a tecnical advisor has coached teams and has better experience than emenalo both in national and club level, we don't know if emanalo as head coach will come good for us but it's gamble the NFF will not take that's for sure.

We need a Coach and an experienced one

emenalo has stamped his authority as a world class technical assistant and sport director over the years working with big clubs like chelsea, Monaco and also working with the likes of mourihno I mean his impact can't be tone down..I mean with discovering the likes of kelvin De bruyne and other talented players like that...just like I said when it comes to sport directing and technical advisory.....emenalo has been and will always be a boss to rohr.. but when it comes to coaching you can't say emenalo is a better coach than rohr...have you seen emenalo coach before .
if we are looking from coaching aspect the duo are poor coach. thats why I emphasize on the need for us to look for a sound coach and also a better technical adviser than rohr ...but the huge question now is can we afford EMENALO

without sentiment rohr is a good technical adviser but emenalo is a better technical adviser than him.

i must really condemn the NFF you employed rohr as a technical adviser not as an head coach but you charged him with responsibility of an head coach and a technical adviser.... now that it is fully blown that Rohr Is not a good coach and you can't terminate his contract without him breaching the three thing I stated then I personally will advise the NFF to review his contract and put him in his real position as the technical adviser of the team just like the way peter cech is to Chelsea while finding a new coach to replace salisu Yusuf with this everyone will be happy.

Egbon please what are they saying about the poor player turf they keep forcing this players to play on.You can't expect this players do wonders when the ball is bouncing anyhow, the ball becomes hard to control and football isn't free flowing.

I understand that Rohr doesn't have tactics, infact Rohr spoilt that first leg because of poor subs, but we need to cut these players some slack, what they play on in europe is good and we see the kind of wonders they perform,if a whole Messi can complain when a pitch isn't suitable enough for free flowing football, then who are our players not to complain.

Imagine a match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone in a stadium like camp nou, very wide and smooth, believe you me, Sierra Leone will be made to chase the ball for the entire duration of 90.They will be beaten to stupor, this I'm sure of.

I have been thinking about the reasons NFF may not want to fire Rohr. cheesy. So i wan know, is it possible that Rohr's salary of 50k is only on paper? that he actually gets less, i mean in which case he has to sign an NDA or something. I know it's a little far-fetched, but knowing our people, hmm.

U saw where I said Rohr doesn't have tactics, under a good coach, this team will perform well. The first 30mins of the 1st leg affirms this.Though our team is not a finished product, the midfield and defence is still very mediocre, with the inclusion of the players being monitored,we will be good to go.

Y are you justifying mediocrity eh brotherly, this boys play week in week out on good pitches in their respective clubs, they don't have to go through the stress of controlling the ball twice before the ball will stop, and you expect them to come back for just two weeks and "get used to" rubbish.Pity this boys nah,y should they get used to nonsense when the right thing can be done,a whole self acclaimed " giant of Africa " doesn't have a standard football pitch and you are talking about " getting used to".

Slaughter them or not,is it bad if the so called "giant of Africa" have good pitch like south africa and the likes, Sierra Leone is not on the level of this countries you mentioned, playing against them will be a different ball game entirely. What is bad is bad, don't justify it.

well, I don't think it's a thing of shame. In fact more of that needs to happen, this country needs to free up things for businessmen to buy, develop and profit from. In developed countries, you will not hear that government owns stadiums, owns league and clubs, these are own and operated by companies.

You keep talking about how good our team is.. But you are ignoring the obvious issue which is the level of coaching.. It doesn't matter how many star players we get, if the level of coaching doesn't improve, we aren't getting anywhere..

Good thing you mentioned Algeria.. The Algeria team we beat in 2016 was star studded if not more star studded than the current one, but they were poorly coached.. Look at them now.. Can we still beat them again at this time??

We can get Lookman, Adarabioyo maybe even Saka, but with a coach like Rohr that doesn't know how to utilise them, we are going nowhere...that's the truth...
well, make we calm down first then see what happens, whether Rohr will go or improve. But our last match was okay in terms of play.

BTW I doubt if we can still have saka.

Improve? After 4 years abi? My man... truth is there can never be any improvement with respect to Rohr. They told us that he will go for refresher course in Europe. That never translated into good performance on the part of our players. We all saw what we were served during the Afcon. This man doesnt mind losing to minnows. Lemme ask... what has changed? Not even his stubborness has changed. Why carve out a position for Akpoguma to play when he had Aina and Ebuehi. What intel did he gather on his opponent with respect to their playing? Remember when he was to play cameroon, he had enough intel to prosecute cameroon before the world cup.

I get it when people say he has tried but at this point, he is sabotaging himself with poor results. And I can tell you for free, it wont end good. Not for Nigeria and certainly not for him.

An indictment to get the best black coach on the continent Lol I know it is impossible for Nigeria to hire a Ghanaian or a south African but if someone is the best at what they do, why not? So many European coaches tried and failed at reaching the level Pitso got to in the PSL.

Anyways we can't afford him so on to the next one

Lets not make a mistake here. Club footie and National team footie are 2 different things. In the former. You have the luxury of getting to see your players both in training and on the field of play week in, week out. In the case of the Latter, you are expected to be a chef that works based on available resources at your disposal of which the key element is time spent with your team.

Pitso will thrive with club football. National team football? I am not so sure. He has coached bafana before and I dare say he didnt do so much there.

Guy, you dont grab, do you?

Its not about the turf alone, its all about the result,

lemme ask you a question, if as a country got beaten in a fine natural grass field away from home, even thought you had that same turf at home, if you discover that your opponent struggle in an artificial turfm and you had such at home too

which turf will you play ur home game against them, natural or artificial?
