The UK is not as rosy as some people would want to mk u believe a lot of people just keep going based on the fact that its not their comfort zone. To me you haven't gotten a permanent residency or citizenship but u are spending your Money on a new house and car what are u trying to prove. I applaud your testimony but seriously think am na. omopapa:Only apply for a provisional licence if you don't intend to travel for a long while. You need to send DVLA either your passport or BRP before you can get one issued, and they are seriously backlogged. |

As at July/August, it took between 4-8 weeks (for those without a UK passport) due to the backlog from the 1st lockdown. It was faster for UK passport holders because the picture/signatures from their UK passports were used. Not sure what the current timeline is though. Tobexin: |

Well, I don't know if that's the case but you may have a point there. Most of the cases I know of applied in England and were processed by Swansea.
