Good day everyone.

Having gone through this thread, I seem to notice that applicants with siblings in Canada do get rejected.

For me, my sister is a citizen of Canada. She’s going to be my main sponsor while my brother in the UK will be my second sponsor.

For ties back in Nigeria, I have my parent and two other siblings in Nigeria, my parents and my brothers have landed properties in Nigeria. I can get a letter of study leave from my company where I’ve been working for almost 3 years now.

Please do I run a risk of being rejected due to family ties in Canada and Nigeria?
Your mistaken please.
I have family in Canada and it was approved.
Just submit an honest application.

Good Afternoon, my passport was stamped and my status changed to approved on Nov 10. I have my passport in my hand now. I’ve not yet received Letter of Introduction yet. Please advice on how I can get the LOI asap.

How long did it take you to get this, like which date did u submit before u got it in Nov 10

@nwanyiokpa please don’t be discouraged. Almost everybody gets a refusal. I didn’t see the GCMS notes you posted but if you say there was nothing specific in it, then the only point of issue will be your finances.

Like everyone else has said, pay your tuition and point that out in your letter of explanation, then get the full amount for your living expenses transferred into your account from your sponsor
Make sure your brother also highlights that in his letter of sponsorship.

I believe you will be successful second time around.

thank you luckymama

1) PGC in Collegey , and make sure the PGC program is related to what you studied in your School or a PGC program related to a program you have work experience in.

2) Get documents of the Two Farm lands
E.g
- C of O (Certificate of Occupancy)
- Survey Plans
- Deed of Assignment/Conveyance
- Land Receipts & Stamp Duties
- Land Memorandum of Sales
- Affidavit of Sales
- Deed of Lease & Sub-Lease (If available)

They can be more, it all depends & also you might likely not av some of the Documents mentioned

You can await more suggestions from members in house on your No.2 question

Please House, My friend got a mail from IRCC requesting:
1. Proof of finance from mybankstatement.com

2. IELTS Certificate of 6.0 or more in all sections.

Can she ask for a certificate of exemption from IELTS from her school since they did not ask for it during the application. She is going for her masters.
Can the IELTS exemption certificate suffice for IELTS certificate?

Thank you in anticipation of your responses

Are you sure that request is from IRCC?

Lagos VFS through DHL, I took it to their office on Friday but they said they won’t deliver it to vfs till Monday.
I paid for the 2 way courier, it cost 1350 each

Pimp04:
Wassup, abeg where did you submit passport and how much? Is it 2way courier?

Hello All,
This are the most random question ever grin
Excuse my curiosity.
1)Once given visa, can one travel outside of Canada during the course of study? Like visiting home?
2)For someone that have no family? Can we rent an apartment then add to our application?
B) Do you get to Canada before you scout for accommodation?
Thank you

Hello all, this has been a very informative platform. I got my PPR on Nov 10 and sent my passport to VFS Lagos on the 11th. Up till now, I still don’t have a tracking ID. I submitted the required documents-biometric slip, PPR form, Consent forms and sent through DHL. I didn’t need to pay transmission fee as I did my biometrics in Lagos. Each time I call, they keep telling me you will get a tracking ID at the end of the day. Is anyone in this situation please? It’s getting tiring.

Please for those that have gotten their visas, are you booking 1 way or 2 way ticket? I heard that there will be issues of intent with 1 way ticket
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dee4Doyinsola: 8:49pm On Nov 22, 2020
I think you just have to be persistent with the calls till you get the tracking number.

Checked requirements of Conestoga for Food safety and Quality Assurance. They requested for Transcript assessment i.e WES. which I believe will slow up application. Does anyone knows schools that's doesn't require transcript evaluation and offer same course or related course of study b4 giving admission. Thanks

Hello Nairalanders. I'm new here. I need your advise on whether to start with Student visa in Canada or PR in Canada, And if it’s possible to do both side by side. Thank you as I await your response.
