MetalJigsaw:Keep in mind Aina did not play in the last set of international games. Well I am not hyping in anyway but pointing out what I admired about his play today. He moved effortlessly up and down the pitch and still covered gaps in the central defence intelligently. I just hope he did not suffer any serious injury with his clash with Calvert Lewin. 1 Like |

ashawoKGB: African born players have this mentality and it is their greatest weakness. Even Ademola Bankole left leipzig when they were benching him. I dont know but being born in Africa limits greatness to having money. Africans are not concerned with setting a record for generations to come but just being rich which is limited |

Kog45: Mbappe was flunking some good chances while Iheanacho made finishing look effortless. Unfortunately, after Pellegrini's time he has not had a good run of games in an offensive Unit. So I disagree with writing him off. I hope he gets a chance in a good attacking side to prove his worth. 1 Like |

Subzero047: Watch Aina win the ball in the central area of the defence which is not his Wing repeatedly. That was due to him reading and covering gaps. He made forward runs repeatedly and still covered brilliantly when his team lost the ball, leaving few gaps to exploit. He even won the ball close to the left side of the defence in one occasion. So tell me how Aina did not play anything. |

ashawoKGB: What impressed me about Iwobi's role today was he got to conserve his energy a lot of time and made him contribute effectively without gassing out. I still feel a deeper central midfield role will do wonders for Iwobi and I hope Ancelloti considers it. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:This article you quoted was in April 2016, Mbappe was 17 while Iheanacho was 19. The comparisons didn't start then, stop trying to sugarcoat what we all knew that period. |

Karlovich: When it came to finishing, Mbappe was not rated at such level as the likes of Ronaldo and Messi. As at that time, Mbappe was already playing for Monaco. By the time the debate hit full swing, it was February,2017. Mbappe was rated as the next Ronaldo de Lima. But the point was that, was he a better finisher than Iheanacho. That was the debate and even under Guardiola, Iheanacho still had a good conversion rate. So where is the lie. 3 Likes |

Karlovich: This article is at December 2016 two months before the Monaco clash with Manchester City. Iheanacho still had a very decent finishing stat Manchester City. So the debate was finishing. 1 Like

Subzero047: The dude is improving no caps His major weakness in his last match was his inability to cover the central area of the defense thanks to parker he has improved on that one...next is his inability to defend ruggedly like Reece James but with time he will improve on that Concerning his inaccurate cross might be as a result of poor form as a matter of fact aina is the best crosser in the SE both in the LB and RB role ... 2 Likes |

smartsmith0907: Also those lose crosses especially at the end was against a tight defending Everton. Definitely not an easy scenario to put in clean crosses. Aina was trying to make things happen. I did not expect criticism for that. It even showed his initiative to try to help his team force an attack. |
