Ambode endeared to majority of Lagosians?

Ambode's re-election was no certain at all because of some of the policies he made (If you were resident in Lagos during his tenure you should know this) a lot of Lagosians grumbled for the most part of it safe for some of the major project he did like the Oshodi bus terminal, Ikeja bus terminal and increased development in Epe his own area.

The APC primary is enough evidence that people were tired of him 900k votes to 70k, he only performed well in Epe because he did a lot for them there.

Primary election 900k votes.. Listen to yourself

Even in America primary elections dont have such numbers..

Most of those 900k votes were from Tinubu and his mens

Really? The fact on ground states otherwise. Particularly because of 2023, his investments were razed to the ground. Even Oriental Hotel was almost burnt on the lie thst it belongs to Asiwaju Tinubu.

Even IPOB leader was clear in stating that Tinubu's property be burnt and it got burnt. Sahara reporters even created a fake manifest on Tinubu's son http://saharareporters.com/2020/10/22/exclusive-seyi-son-ex-lagos-governor-bola-tinubu-jet-out-london-family-angry-nigerians and one Onyedika122 moniker , more likely an IPOB member here on Nairaland posted another lie https://www.nairaland.com/6196221/live-tinubu-been-chased-away

Some even went as far as circulating videos saying he was running out of Nigeria and his son Seyi flee Nigeria. It all later turned out a lie.
So who are those behind all these attacks against him?
I thought sahara reporter is own by a Yoruba man

If you're a yoruba at all then You are actually among the few daft Yoruba youth that think Nigeria is simple cartoon 3D video game.

You think your 5.0 unilag GP or your position as the SUG President of your school is enough to became a perfect leader of a complex multiethnic, multi religious nation with a controversial foundation like Nigeria.

Oh! You think Yoruba is the only tribe in Nigeria that is political. Continue dreaming like this and watch how Yoruba go into extinction politically.

Ayodele Fayose is a thief just like Tinubu, Tinubu never did anything good for the masses of Yoruba instead destroyed what has been achieved before him.

It is very unfortunate that we have a person like Fayose praising the thief.

To the point:

1. When Tinube was the governor of Lagos state, he destroyed the educational system. How? He returned a lot of the free school to their so-called previous owner, underfund the remaining one, what happens after that? a lot of children remain without a basic education in Lagos as of today. result - HOODLUMS.

2. Tinubu continue to collect TAX in Lagos state - MAFIA

is that the person that, the FAYOSE weyrey want us to support?

One reasons why a lot of southerners and easterners find it easy relocating to Lagos with their children is because we enjoy free education here from primary to senior secondary level and it has been like this for years. Stop spreading lies.

Most of the guys that parade themselves as hoodlums are majorly from neighboring states, they all came to hustle in Lagos (agbero, council boys and NURTW boys work pays well)

Fayose is the most hopelessly opportunistic bastard anyone can meet on Nigeria's political landscape the guy is an animal....their generation needs to be wiped out en-masse for Nigeria to have any hope of progress

Only when the people can create the atmosphere of fear for their leaders, that they can hold their leaders responsible for anything they did while in power, that Africa will start to enjoy the benefits of good governance. Capital punishment and Jerry Rawling treatment are a good start. The mind of an African man is not naturally created to put the interests of others first, but it can be trained as such.

LOL!

He is still the Jagaban, eni to ba wo iseju akan, a pe leti omi.

Most of you guys showed your cards too early and you don’t know the Yorubas that much because when it’s time, people will heed the call starting from those Afenifere guys.

Check out histories in presidential election and you will know if Tinubu decides to vie for presidency, he will win the SW with nothing less that 80% of the vote.

Moreso, elections all over the world is mostly a contest to choose among two people. 2023 election depends on who is contesting against Tinubu. That alone will be what will influence voters to decide.

If Tinubu contest against Atiku, you can be rest assured he will win over 80% of the votes in the SW.

If Tinubu contest against Tambuwal, you can be rest assured he will be the same vote (80%).

If Tinubu contest against Sanusi the former emir, then he will get lesser votes.

Can you see that voters decision most times depends on the opposing candidate and that is exactly why Buhari won the 2019 election because that opponent is Atiku.

What I like about this is that most of you guys think you are winning the war of propaganda against Tinubu, but you’re actually helping to make him very popular such that when it’s time to package himself to the people, he won’t need too much introduction.

Do you even know how APC re-packaged Buhari in 2015 after all the propaganda of Islamic fanatics and bla bla bla against him?

No, mind them. They think we are fools. Making all efforts to demonized our leader at the same time pushing forward lightweight politicians as an option to chose. We (Yoruba)are the master of propaganda and craft, we will answer them when the time is ripe. Let firstly, harmonized the home front, then we will remember the inconsequential enemies.

Your opinion is trash. Am glad that after you guys shouted Yoruba Ronu, that Igbos burnt down Lagos and Tinubu's assets at the endsars protest, it was clear during the arrests that 98% of those who attacked Tinubu's assts and Lagos including the Oba's palace were all Yoruba sons and daughters. Your cheap lies have expired. Ayodele was referring to people like Fayemi and Fashola who seem to have fallen out with Tinubu and being used to embarrass Tinubu

Educate yourself

For the first time in Lagos state, they chose to use direct primary rather than indirect primary were selected delegates votes.

What the Democrats and Republicans practice is the indirect primary. I also voted in the primary in 2019 and I know for a fact that our votes counted.

If you think the result was manipulated, why did Sanwo Olu perform even better than Ambode in the main election?

They will enter night buses from their village to Lagos. They will receive their parents blessing to be successful in Lagos and their parents will tell them not to forget their siblings when things turnaround good for them in Lagos. These are people that couldn't make it in their states before they arrived Lagos. Some of them will later become successful in Lagos only for them to start cursing the man "Jagaban" who built Lagos through his vision instead of their own state governors who sent them out as refugees.

Name one yeyebrity that used to live in Lekki, Ajah, Banana Island before Tinubu became governor and win yourself a gift. Those places were bushes, Jagaban built and developed those areas through his vision.
Jagaban who built Lagos from his private pocket. Its idiots like you that make politicians believe their own us all.

Sanwo performed better because of voters apathy...

You remembered the first elections where Tinubu released thugs?!

That lead to voters apathy in the subsequent elections as most voters decided to stay indoors..

Wait till 2023 let's hope it will be Sanwo vs Ambode election proper..

They hate a tinubu but promote a convicted felon OUK as a presidential candidate, they'll push a Peter Obi after his complicity as governor when SARS were killing his people and dumping their bodies in lakes grin they really think that they can get the presidency without making alliances....they prefer to play politics of hate and marginalization all while basking in belief of some false superiority....chances that in 100 years they won't produce a president and their region will still remain underdeveloped as it is
