I had the rare opportunity to travel to Ado-Ekiti after the EndSARS Protests for a civil engineering work with one of the state major contractors and I was dazed with the high cost of everything in that state. Is like they are living in another world. Food is very cheap in Lagos compare to Ado. They have this uncaring attitude of not calling you back if you try to haggle a price. I also notice small guys in exotic cars, blasting music and the girls smoking like competing with Fela. I can't imagine seeing such high cost of everything in Ado and the people are use to it

Yenagoa too is like that, underdeveloped place but food stuffs and other commodities are freaking expensive

That's true Ado Ekiti and Ikere-Ekiti, I'm from Ikere but I stay in Abuja.
Everything over cost in Ekiti State, including transportation imagine Ikere to Ado is 250 naira, Ikere to Akure is closed to #1500 naira, the most embarrassing issues is that Ado and Ikere Young guys aren't ready to work again.
Engaged them in construction work, they will collected your money without deliver.
