GoodGovernance:If one isn't embarrassed by something then it implies one is comfortable with that thing regardless of how embarrassing that thing is perceived by everyone else. The pertinent question ordinary Nigerians are asking is: Why can't Nigeria get its refineries up and running? |

Niger one of the poorest nations in the world and Nigeria one of the richest countries in the world;Niger built a refinery and Nigeria is buying from them with pride, what an irony! Shame on the entire Nigerian government both state and federal government. Shame on all the supporters of the evil doings of these evil men. Shame on he who deceived to Nigerians in 2015 & 2019! |

I think it would amount to a big disgrace if we could refine in excess and sell to other countries. I mean, A BID DISGRACE dre11: |

dre11:Crude oil is only thing that unites us as one country, now that it has been found abundant in northern nigeria republic annex. Why can't us go away separate way so Niger Delta's can drink their oil, arewa can annex into Niger republic to control their oil as country annex. Igbo's can go and eat their business and technology. Yoruba can export their food to landlock south east. Nigeria is only country in the world without direction, the minister said we should be happy to import what we can produce. If I may ask: why did he gets married? He should have petronizing olosho because, olosho can't give him the same wahala as wife does, neither is there any money to maintain anyone as wife. But because he want to have childrens and build a family. The same as abandon your refinary and use the money generated from crude oil to import refine oil, because imported oil doesn't create job, is all about wasting reasouce in every area. Government should allow importation of everything, because for government to import refine oil from any country, proves all institution has fail and citizen should be allowed to follow government foot steps. |

Mr minister, what is to be proud of hear? Is it the fact that we can not fix refineries for years. |

Shameful statement coming from someone his state is were the oil was first discovered even disastrous that they have least LGA in the country! Is this the PMS he told us we going to buy cheap? Under his watch modular refineries that would have added value to the excruciating pain of importing fuel not talk of from Niger Republic where destroyed by security men! How did we find ourselves here? |

I’m not surprise this is coming from him. It is an established norm in Nigeria to speak in favour of the government even if the government is not doing the right thing. He was appointed to do so. But he wasn’t tactful enough before the press. |

OVB123:When it's imported from US or UK it was normal but when it's from our neighbours is a shame! Mental inferiority instilled in ur head by white is too much. The biggest shame is refusing to accept truth and plunge the country bin oil scarcity. |
