We are too backwards in this country. I fully agree that development is all about the quality of people and not just physical infrastructure. The quality of human beings inhabiting Nigeria is far below average. We behave like savages in this country. When I see how animals are being rescued overseas, I shudder in absolute disdain for my fellow country men.
Honestly, poverty have had a devastating effect on Nigerians.
Are crocodiles endangered?

In a country like nigeria where you know there are no proper structures in place, it would have been a very bad idea letting this one go, its a village setting alot of children go and play around the streams, swim there, fetch water and bath, so if this thing catch person swallow am, na that one you go like? which would you prefer, this be killed or it kills someone in its territory?

" we patronize the animals for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they are more finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear, they are not brethren, they are not underlings. They are other nations caught with ourselves in the net of time and life."

Killing animals for their Skin or meat is just cruel and wrong. How would you feel if someone ripped the skin off you and decided to make a coat out of you?
Animals should have right(s) too.

But if this giant crock.should swallow a human being, there is no problem, abi!

What these animal advocates failed to realized is that Crocs and wirld animals of such nature are more cruel and deadly, they should pray they encounter these animals by mistake...

So there are crocodiles indigenous to the area?

With good planning that could be a tourist attraction.

Crocs don't swallow their prey whole. They devour, biting and chewing the flesh in a ravenous manner.
.........after biting and chewing...........they swallow.
