This is wrong on so many levels. Heavy fine has proven to be more effective and long lasting. Getting traffic offenders to pay like 200k is way better because after paying such amount, they won't commit the offence ever again. Selling their vehicles in front of them is pure wickedness, they hussled and took loans to get that only to lose it in a day just like that. Our politicians and law enforcement agent break the law but i don't see anyone selling their cars. We are suffering in this country

2023, use ur vote wisely sir

If u vote according to tribal and religious line, rhus is what u get. We deserve the leaders we have until we wise up

This is instutional armed robbery and theft. Very punishable offence. Selling someone property without owners consent.

I know Sanwo Olu will go Ambode way for sure from EndSar lies and killings to security failures and now selling peoples cars (sorry comitting thefts) Oh boy just be preparing like Ambode, you are a gonner.

Selective punishment . . . Of all the listed vehicles auctioned, how many commercial buses did you see on that list . . .and they happen to be the biggest offenders . . .matter of fact, I can see them now from the view of my window as I type this . . .going "one-way" ! undecided

The law is not after every offender. It is after WHOSOEVER IS CAUGHT.
The law does not guarantee that it would catch all offenders. But the scape goat, would surely bare the grunt.
if you like RANT till tomorrow. Lagos State is not anyones sitting room.

We have law makers we elected in the state house of assembly, let them make laws that makes it a crime for the govenor NOT to fix the road.
Until then, THE LAW IS THE LAW.

ENOUGH OF LAWLESSNESS.

Does it even mean that without punishment WE CANNOT SELF REGULATE?

Haba!

And we would be shouting SANER CLIME, SANER CLIME!!!

Do you have to drive agaisnt traffic?

Leave Niger Delta alone. Check all the states in the EAST and compare it with those in the Niger Delta. And see how much Niger Delta have evoled and developed while the EAST remain BACKWARD. Always defending LAWLESSNESS.

GO TO WHERE YOU CAN BE LAWLESS and DO ANYTHING YOU LIKE.

So why are you angry at LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY DOING THEIR JOB?

What is getting you angry at people keeping the law?

You may want to sound concerned for other road users, but you will agree with me that some one ways are not purposely taken or are taken inevitably.

The current road construction in Lagos increased that.

The law enforcement agents also direct people to take one way.

However you may want to argue it, selling off people's cars is never the best option.

If anyone buys my car, I will track it and steal it.

you're already noted and this is bookmarked for future purposes, it def shows you have a criminal tendency and believe me security agencies are watching this.

there's no justification for taking one-way especially in those high volume roads. no security officer will direct you to take a one-way

Stop this Nigerian nonsense. Many of you haven't crossed the border but believe those on the other side are saints and it's you who is evil. Could have happened anywhere in the world.
Nobody is saying anybody across the border is a saint or anything, what we are saying is that man's inhumanity to Man exists everywhere, this one happened in Nigeria and that is why I used Nigeria as a reference.

How in heaven can you seize someone's vehicle because they broke traffic rules. Why not issue them high traffic fees instead of auctioning their vehicles. That's wicked.

Our people suffer for lack of knowledge. If they know what the LASTMA law says about such offences and follow it up in court, the government will pay heavily for it

It is clear that this people disobeyed traffic
But it much clearer to see the daylight robbery carried out by the government
Wtf, how would u sell someone’s car for an offense he could be fined for.

This wickedness in the name of keeping the law. It's a traffic offence and the offenders should be made to pay fines. These heartless people will definitely give account to God someday.

This is a broad-daylight robbery! Government should have given them a hefty fine than to auction out people's properties with impunity!
