the way some of y'all talk about the soilders ehh is very disheartening..
These are people who left their families some are married with kids, They've volunteered to be at the front line some has lost an arm or limb and even lifes, December 2018 we lost are a mi35m gunship crew defending ground troops and the NE at large one of the pilot just got married sadly he died trying to fight for you,the flight technician has a family with kids sadly he died defending the people.
And you're here talking are they not men like you in the front lines.if soilders are to withdraw and say no we aren't fighting for the people again they aren't grateful everybody is doomed in a matter of weeks the whole Nigeria will turn to mosul iraq,it's like you don't know what ISWAP is capable of doing, but God bless Nigeria armed force they are keeping them at bay day and night pilots are in the skies on the lookout flying some old era alpha jets and still striking like they use the F16 bro show some respect..

Last year in Germany during an air Force training exercise with different nations a US pilot stated boldly He has learnt a lot from NAF pilots,Now that's something to be proud of..
I am proud that a US man says he is proud of our pilot. But I lost all those pride when 40farmers died under their watch. When protesting citizens are murdered in cold blood by these men acting under the interest of politicians. I thought professional soldiers hate politicians.

ZABARMARI VILLAGE: GOV ZULUM LEADS HORRIFIED KINSMEN TO BURY 43 FARMERS KILLED BY BOKO HARAM

... Death toll still uncertain

Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum was at Zabarmari early morning on Sunday, to lead kinsmen and other residents, still in shock, for the funeral of 43 farmers slaughtered by the Boko Haram insurgents.

Though the victims lived in Zabarmari is a farming community in Jere local government area, famous for rice cultivation and local processing, they were attacked on Saturday, at Koshebe village, a place in Mafa Local Government Area.

Zulum, during his visit was told that death toll was yet to be fully ascertained.

"Your Excellency, as you have seen here, 43 corpses were buried, but others have not been retrieved from the scene of the incident. Nobody can tell you the exact number of people killed. Some of the victims are still missing" a resident (name concealed, told the governor).

Zulum addressed the bereaved community.

“First of all, accept my deepest sympathy over this carnage, once again, that affects all of us and every human with conscience. I am told some persons are still missing. We have been discussing with the military since yesterday, Insha Allah the remaining people will be traced soon."

The Governor while speaking to journalists said, "It is disheartening that more than 40 citizens were slaughtered while they were working in their farmlands. Our people are in very difficult situations, they are in two different extreme conditions, in one side they stay at home they may be killed by hunger and starvation, on the other, they go out to their farmlands and risk getting killed by the insurgents. This is very sad. We are still appealing to the Federal Government to ensure recruitment of more our youths in the CJTF and hunters into the Nigerian military and the Civil Defence so that they can form part of the agro rangers that will protect farmers. We need many boots to protect farmlands and our youths understand the terrain. We will not lose hope because we have to remain optimistic about ending the insurgency” Zulum said.

I don't really blame the soldiers. This is what an afghanistan style war looks like. It never ends. I pity Ethiopia, they just went and created an insurgency for themselves. Now their soldiers will keep fighting till Jesus comes.

You do not want to talk about how gallant the Nigerian Solider Ants were when they opened live rounds on protesting youths whose only offence was to demand for an end to police brutality and bad governance; youths whose act of aggression was merely singing the country's anthem and waving the flag.

Farmers don't really bear the brunt of ISWAP/BH as they don't really go deep in the bushlands. Hardly farmers go farther na 8km into the forest.

The Tree felling/Firewood guys have seen Shege in the hands of ISWAP/BH here in Borno. These Firewood guys go as far as 30kilometers outside military bases in search of firewoods. They have always been the highest casualties till day with no media reports.

Sometimes it is better to keep quiet than speak only to expose your stupidity.

You and your band of hateful, vile mercenaries see nothing good in all that is good. Nigeria go survive, our armed forces go succeed whether you like or want it or not.

As usual, blame the victims for their predicament while exonerating those who have woefully failed in the discharging their duty in bringing this Boko horror to an end.
The Nigerian Soldier Ants you want to absolve from blame are the same ones that would grant amnesty to terrorists, and then term them as 'repentant and rehabilitated'

Hon. Garba Muhammad of The House of Representatives yesterday called on the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai to urgently establish a battalion of the Nigerian Army at the southern border of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria to help forestall incursions by kidnappers, bandits and miscreants into the campus.

shocked shocked shocked shocked
Is Garba Muhammad making sense?
I think so, because if you think about it, what Nigeria needs at this point is not decentralized policing but Military formations in every university, secondary school and primary school, complete with machine gun mounted Ezugwu and grenade launchers. Because, why protect a University campus with soldiers and leave secondary and primary schools without any soldiers, these are very young people that still drink milk, they deserve protection too, by armed soldiers. Infact every school goer should be assigned their own personal soldier, just to be safe.

Hon. Garba Muhammad of The House also asked the federal government to urgently erect a secure wall round the campuses as has been done for the University of Maiduguri in Maiduguri and the Gwagwalada campuses of the University of Abuja in order to forestall incursions.

grin grin grin grin
Is Garba Muhammad making sense?
nooooo, tufiakwa, leave the university campus wide open, no need for borders or barriers, let anyone and anything be able to stray in and out including cows, donkeys and of course armed kidnappers. This is exactly how we were taught to secure a location, by having no physical barrier between what we seek to protect and what aims to kill.
What is a wire mesh security perimeter wall when we can always call on the army after people have been killed and kidnapped.
Oh yea, and we will always pray for the souls of the departed, as I am about to do now.
RIP to the lost souls. May God forgive their sins.

At times like these, its good to have a sense of humor, otherwise one might literally go insane.
