I'feel worthless been alive right now, no hope, my life have been stagnant for years now and I'm done hoping for better life with nothing working right now I most often feel like a failure, the future seems bleak for me..I feel for my family, because they may loose me anytime soon.. I'm getting tired of existing despite still in my mid twenties I just wish I was among those shot dead during the recent EndSars protest.. With the way things are going at the moment nothing gives me joy..I burnt all my pics and few of my clothes recently.. it seems depression is hitting me up Call me names, bash me, call me coward I am not bothered.. just wanted to spew my ordeal here because is a faceless forum, so your judgements won't hurt me the more..I just need something to hope on while still alive I don't know if anyone is facing worst in their life,but for me I'm loosing hope right now... |

Don’t lose hope dear! Know that a time will come and you would look back to all these you went through and smile... It is just a phase, it will come and go. Get yourself busy and productive! endlesspain:So the problem is no hope. I am in the shoe with you. The truth is that they have been people in worst situation and they overcame it. I keep on everyday looking for a bit of hope. It is hard as you recreating dreams and watch them vanish. People will tell you to put hope in God but I will not tell you that because I have put hope in Him since nothing have changed. Hmmmm, let me not deceive u, most of us never had it smooth, I was once in ur shoes and I thought suicide was d only option left, I actually attempted but failed. Looking back now I thank my Creator for the gift of life. It's a phase that will surely pass, and when you look back, u will laugh over those things that is bothering you right now. I have not really gotten to the exact place that I want but I'm grateful for where I am presently. I attempted suicide 15 yrs ago and I'm glad it wasn't successful. My late mom wasn't herself for days, she said I would have left her miserable for the rest of her days on Earth. Life is not easy, but please try cuz u will surely overcome every obstacle that is obstructing your way now. Just go and meet new friends or learn a skill, engage in what ever makes sense to u. U will b alright last last. If it's school, lack of job, family issues or it something, don't just give dem d pleasure of taking ur own life cuz life and them will forget u after d 3rd day of ur death and life continues. And they will fabricate lies on u, cuz no one actually knew ur pain before ur death. Nothing seems to be working fine now but will if u are patience, don't use pride and waste ur life . 1 Like 1 Share |

Make out time to watch some YouTube videos on paced breathing and also paired muscle relaxation These exercises are part of what therapists use while working with persons who were feeling suicidal and have been admitted into a mental health facility and even those not yet admitted Nairaland is an "environment rich" platform, be open to members who may be willing to help you upskill, you should invest time in seeking them out. |
