When NE is peaceful and BH is eradicated completely, then we can talk of NE presidency because nobody will allow a " repentant" BH to become president. And as for who the real sell out is, I will send you to go and talk to Zik.

The chance that the South had under Goodluck Jonathan is lost for a long long time to come.
Zik was not in power for 4yrs, and its 56yrs already .. and am sure your father might not be born then .

All your southern states votes in less than 5 nothern states and it doesnt tickle your mind, if they want to perpetuate themselves in power it's easy as Abc

You are very stupid to bring my father into this. And it being 56 years doesn't mean history should be forgotten. Its this nasty attitude that will never allow anyone to associate with your region.

Oga your man was voted in power in 1999 against another Easterner Ojukwu.. Guess we should have rush to Look for an Aboki so that power will get to us in 2009.

And I wasnt insulting your father . You were trying to bring problems from generation before you to prove your argument. My reply was it's an old issue that south east pay dearly for . Maybe you do not know this but I will tell you. The Northwest created a problem to undermine other regions in the North by creating BH and allowing it to fester. Now it has gotten out of hand. They created Fulani terrorists and allowed them to destroy North central. All because they want to establish unmitigated dominance. They have started encroaching the South. You think they want power to settle in any other place apart from NW?

You think its by mistake that Buhari has refused to retire his service chiefs who are long over due for retirement? Burantai is going to be instrumental in making sure a military takeover happen is the SW or SE and SS cause problems for Buhari's plans of total domination by the NW/ Fulani.

IGBO SHOULD START AVOIDING YORUBA PEOPLE

Yoruba don't want an Igbo man to be president, because they have seen that the slot is getting to an Igbo man slowly. their new slogan now is, we don't want old men, we want only youths. But watch as they will bring out a Yoruba youth for president, instead of Igbo youth.

Igbo should avoid Yoruba for now until they get their Presidential slot. Yoruba people don't want to use eyes see an Igbo president in nigeria, that's why they are advocating for youth president that will still come out from yoruba extraction.

igbos, say no to yoruba collabo, I have seen what they are upto. Igbos should collaborate with the North if they want to achieve their Presidential ambition. For instance, you can see what is happening in the music industry, all the awards belong to yoruba people.

They give awards to themselves, leaving Igbos behind. in conclusion, whenever an ibo person see a snake and a Yoruba person, leave the snake and go after a Yoruba man.

A Piece Of Advice
Re: APC Leaders At War Over 2023 Presidency, Zoning by 9gerian: 4:12pm On Nov 29, 2020
Southern unity actually died in 1959 when Nnamdi Azikiwe ditched the opportunity to be number 1 by forming alliance with the North to be the number 2 citizen as a ceremonial president.

This was the foundation that was laid for all the problems that confronts Nigeria’s development to date.

cktheluckyman:
Well said.Southern unity died in 2015 when the SW sided with the North against a Southern presidency

Yoroubas has the mentality of winner takes it all. They cant have people with equal power at hem of affairs. I see that mentality in everything they do .. That's the mentality that made Tinubu assume after Buhari then , He is next to choose . But Nigeria is bigger than that, We have other zones with a different mentality in Apc and trying to scuttle power in a varied place like Nigeria is not possible, the result is acting like a sellout for a period of time thinking, next turn is yours.
Your first sentence is wrong! Very wrong! Take it from obj, check his cabinet, na igbo full am (though young vibrant igbos), not yoruba. They occupied the 'juicy' positions. Tinubu u mentioned will later include igbo man in his cabinet. He has never been anti igbo. Do you know who Joe is to Tinubu self. He has many others like him.

However, this game is a political calculations, if the merger Tinubu led sw into in 2014 were to be unsuccessful, will u people be clamoring for presidency under APChuh

Tinubu is one of the few politicians that doesn't jump from party to party (though there could be reforms, merger and the likes). His party loyalty remains intact.

I still don't understand why the people in power keep saying the unity of this country is sacrosanct when actually we keep debating about our differences all the time.

Periodically, we keep debating if power should go to the North or South and it being a Christian/Muslim or Muslim/Christian ticket.

It shows there is no trust or unity in the first instance.

We need to trace the source and that is the Constitution being practiced. I still don't know why they fail to see the solution when it is glaring before all to see.
Re: APC Leaders At War Over 2023 Presidency, Zoning by Reference(m): 4:28pm On Nov 29, 2020
All these because Nigeria is structured to be an unjust country where essentially the winner takes it all. If there were functional institutions, properly constituted checks and balances it won't matter where any single person in leadership is from.

It is the rules of the game, not the players that aptly describes what kind of sport is contested.

And Pdp should also give their presidential ticket to the southeast......that will be two southeast president candidates....i will love to see that......and nigerians will decide by voting their choice.......

1999 was sure southeast slot, based on the fact that during the military time SW ruled,

But to pacify southwest based on mko abiola they went and brought obasanjo out of nowhere and gave him president.

They can pacify southwest and everybody allows but lets pacify southeast all hell wants to let loose
There is a fundamental issue you're missing in your laborious attempts to compare the SW 1999 political situation with that of the SE today.

The SW in their bid for Presidency after Abiola had been denied his mandate and killed, never engaged in a mindless campaign of hate, threats and insults against the entire country. Their mouthpiece Radio Kudirat fought dictatorship & military rule in alignment with the desire of Nigerians and did not become an outlet for extreme hatred, bigotry & propaganda. Very unlike the SE that did so through ipob & radio biafra which enjoys widespread support in the region as demonstrated through compliance with Cownu's instructions like sit at home & support among some elites including a serving Senator of the Republic, among others.

This is what makes it excruciatingly difficult for the SE to win the votes of other Nigerians at this time unlike the SW that enjoyed national sympathy due to MKO and secured the all-SW tickets & won votes across the country.

Every body has a struggle and their way of doing it.

The SE instead of starting a violent campaign just like Niger delta militants did or Boko Haram is doing right now, they took it online and tried there best to make it peaceful, instead of shooting guns they shoot insults, instead of kidnapping people as part of the struggle they attack the person's social media handle, instead of raidind and burning villages they hold a seat at home.

To me that's the best form of struggle anybody can engage in, it's far better than killing people.

The fact that we choose not to kill and mail and bomb people like others, shouldn't that be enough reason to at least support these people who have been in a struggle for years yet refused to drag Nigeria to violence.

Do u know what will happen if a war is going on in the north east and one erupts in the south east?

What will happen to Nigerias image and struggle?

We must not all always wait for people to take up arms before we do the right thing

Unfortunately that strategy is clearly weak, ineffective & self defeating since not only does it take you as far as possible from achieving secession, it also horribly destroys Ndigbos political capital and their ability to attain the Presidency which is one of the core reasons for the agitation as your earlier admitted.

Very weak, ineffective & self defeating way to execute a struggle.

Igbos don't really want to break Nigeria, u and I know this, neither do we want restructuring.

All that is just a rallying cry for presidency.

I agree that the strategy back fires, but take it from me no igbo man really wants Nigeria to break, the only reason why the first attempt to breakup happened was because of the circumstances surrounding the second coup.

Igbos are too wise to go and start bombing the little assets in our region, we are too wise to start killing our own people, the insult thing is just the normal thing that happens to someone who is angry and frustrated with u and know he can't do anything to u.

There's a saying sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.

All this self praise is not what will endear igbos to other Nigerians and secure their votes.

When the SW were angry and frustrated over Mko, why didn't they go on a hate campaign?

When will you realise your strategy isn't working? Only a mad man does the exact same thing over and over again expecting a difference.

Words don't break bones? Lol. Tell that to the dozens of ipob youths that have lost their lives in the course of following Kanu's instructions. Tell that to the northerners & security agents killed by ipob members in Oyigbo. Tell that to the millions of Nigerians across the country that will not vote an Igbo due to IPOBs senseless campaign of extreme hatred, bigotry and propaganda.

Re: APC Leaders At War Over 2023 Presidency, Zoning by samdunzo: 5:20pm On Nov 29, 2020
This is why presidency should be rotated amongst the 6 regions... stuff like this is simply not productive and unnecessary for the nation right now. For ACN, sho ri aye? You should've known that the North would not be willing to let go of power so easily, especially when they feel that they are economically disadvantaged compared to the west and east. As it stands now, the president of this country in 2023 will either be an igbo or another northerner. Whoever it is depends on what the Yoruba APC faction does. if they continue to insist on Presidency, then all PDP need do is present a Northerner with an Easterner and its a wrap.

ORIENTATION101:
south west didnt get free lunch in 1999.
They fought for it from the moment south west presidency was aborted by ibb after Abiola won free and fair election in 1993
South west leaders didnt relent on getting their mandate back, the put in strong pressure to get their mandate back.
They build bridges and formed alliance through Nadeco to fight the military until they relinquish power back to west.
Unfortunately the rightful owner of the mandate died in the struggle and obasanjo was the beneficiary.

Igbos should stop wailing ,they should go to battlefield with others nobody will give them presidency on a platter
Your moniker says orientation, but to be honest with you...that's what you really need, ORIENTATION.

Our people should be very tactical in this Apga should ally with Apc.

They pacified southwest by giving them president through obasanjo even when it was obvious Alex ekweme deserved it, they pacified south south at the height of the Niger delta agitation by giving them vp and then president, but at the height of Biafra agitation instead not pacifying the southeast too like other regions were pacified they want to purnish the south east for agitating by not giving us a chance.

The southwest has no reason to talk about presidency or vice. People who should are north centralz north east and south east and to some extent southsouth.

We in the east are willing to allow any region I'm the north rule and maybe allow the southsouth bad vice to complete it's tenure as vp if In return they will allow us have the next tenure as president after the north finishes it's 16years
This should have been done long ago... I wonder why AGPA prefers to stand alone when they don't even control the entire SE like ACN did before the merger.

Mind you, the people's choice was Olu Falae. Obasanjo whom the North referred to as the ONLY Southerner and Christian the North will accept, was foisted on us. And if you can recall since you claim to be so adept in history, he was vigorously opposed especially in his 1st term.

Awolowo's " glory" was based on his achievements in the Western Region. Not during or after the militarily take overs that poke marked Nigeria's history. And there was nothing like a collective Southern collaboration then. Not that there is now anyways. Jonathan Goodluck bungled it for partisan reasons with the collaboration of SE.. So, as I was saying, there were 3 regions and Awo was the star of his. Biko why are you castigating him for being loyal to his region? Was Zik not an opposition to him at the federal level together with his goro chewing pals? When he , Awo, aspired to be president, was it not that bastard Obasanjo whose father was an igbo man and mother Yoruba that frustrated him though he won, but gave power to the North?
