Jamb only reckon with the date of birth on your jamb result. I'm taking from experience. My case is similar to yours with the Dob on my jamb result bearing the day and birth year that is different from my WAEC. I was worried about which problem I might encounter until about to register for my NYSC. I was to fill the gap for exemption because I was above the age for camping according to the age in both certificate. To my surprise, NYSC already indicated the jamb birth date as my official Dob. I just filled the portal and got my exemption certificate days after

You need not stress yourself. It’s same month and year. The only difference Is the date. You can use it for your NYSC registration but pls make sure you correct it later or sooner. Such case cost my friend his Visa to Michigan last year. Very little but it was counted upon.

I read some people blaming the guy for such avoidable mistakes. Let’s not be quick to judge, i was a victim of such few years ago when I applied for Post UTME in OAU, I registered physics but when it was printed out; I saw Music instead and it’s already submitted. I had to fix the error on the exam date.

please make use of the one in your WAEC during your jamb registration cos it is going to affect you if what you have on your Waec certificate is different from your nysc certificate.

you have nothing to worry about. NYSC will only use the date of birth you used during the jamb registration. Just chill, I had same issue way back.

I know that it's polytechnic students that do regularization mostly. So if you're a polytechnic student, yes you can do that regularization known as "fresh", you've to choose a different year of admission because you can't have 2 jamb reg number for a year especially when all other details remains the same.

Example.
You wrote jamb in 2014 and was admitted, but your date of birth is wrong or not what you want it to be.

Soln: Do jamb regularization while bearing in mind/assuming that you've no jamb before, then while filling it choose a year different from 2014, might be 2013, 2012, as the year you were admitted in school and then when jamb approves it you'll be issued a new jamb reg number and admission letter with that age.

NB: like we do in our school, you need to submit the indemnity form printed from Jamb to school that's the process to approval by jamb
