Good morning people
Please do I have to print out a new statement of account when I want to travel to sure POF?
If yes, can I print it out now because I want to change some money. Or I can print it even after taking out the money I want to change?

I got counterfoil. Background check was also completed September 3rd - same day as medical request. No do not reply email or 4th VFS email yet. I guess we are just very anxious so we were checking the profile same time as they were working on it. August 22 applicant.

It will finally end in praise!
Congratulations to you, I applied since February 22nd

Good morning house,

Please help

Does anyone know the latest date I can travel and still be eligible for PGWP

I started my program online in September. It is a 2 yr program(4 semesters) but I will most likely finish it in 3 semesters. I just want to know how soon I have to travel

PS: I'm trying to avoid travelling in the middle of winter (next semester is also online)

When are they going for their end of year break?

By the third week of this month, they may move all unfinished business to next year. It all depends but just don't have any unfinished business with them by then except you can't help it.

Its been two weeks and some days since I submitted my passport, so when should I expect my counterfoil and my passport back?

Your own is still fresh na. Many of those who have gotten counterfoil submitted around this time last month. However, based on the recent timelines, you should expect your counterfoil between now and next week. If so, then you can get your passport back in the next two or three weeks. Just pray that they return it on time. Nothing is more frustrating than VFS holding your stamped passport till January (especially if you plan to be in Canada before then).

Submitted passport on 3rd November (same day as PPR) and yes background check changed to September 3rd today, for the first time but final status says Approved.

Please what’s the expiry date on the counterfoil? Does it align with your passport expiry date or your program ending date?

Lekiboboe:
I just got COUNTERFOIL

Current Status : APPROVED

I didn't get a Donotreply mail from IRCC

Try PUFFIN BROWSER if u are having challenges with other BROWSERS

With this development on our GC key profile, what are we to expect next?

Thanks

Can we trend #WeNeedOurPassports on Twitter NG or #VfsReleaseOurPassports

this is becoming unbecoming o. Imagine no tracking number since, and some who have gotten both counterfoil and loi are yet to receive their passports.

Just scattering people's plans, now they'll go on scheduled break soon for the festive period. Everything moves to next year

Hi guys, I'm new here. Please what is NSE? I have been seeing people mentioning it. I am applying for a graduate certificate at University of Calgary to study network security. I earn 100k monthly as my salary in my office. Please i hope this will not affect my getting the student visa, even though i have enough money in my account (5m) to show as proof of funds.

Lastly, someone mentioned to me that if my fees is about 14,000CAD, that if I have like 7,000CAD in your account for the fees + the 10,000CAD living expenses, that i will still be given visa. Is this true?? thanks

Is not true oooo.

You must show evidence of financial capability to sponsor your program in Canada if you want to be eligible for study permit.

You need to show
Full one year tuition + 10000cad living expenses + 3000 for others.
Source of proof of funds whether you are self sponsored or using a sponsor.

If you do the maths, 5m or 7m may not be enough.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Akannitommy: 9:26am On Dec 01, 2020
Good question that I have also been asking my own bosses. Mine is end of December 2023 - that's essentially a 3 years visa since my course starts in January 2021. My expected grad date is March 2024 and passport is valid till 2030.

However, I know someone who is almost in the same shoes as me but has visa expiry till 2024. So my theory is that because I have a coop component in my program, maybe that explains the difference. Perhaps, I will get a work/coop visa at the POE to cover the difference. But it doesn't matter at this point, we can renew study visa from inside Canada.

Mad VFS people just sent this:

The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. 20201105******** has been received from the IRCC Office on 12/1/2020 8:34:08 AM at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Canada Visa Application Centre, Lagos and is ready for collection

So it took one week between receiving the counterfoil and when the passport reached VFS office. Their status updates are usually conflicting. They asked me to pay last week and they are saying it just arrived today. Any way, let me see if they will send it tomorrow.

It aligns with the date the final decision was made i.e the following year

Like in my counterfoil, the decision was made Nov 30, 2020, the expiry date is Nov 30, 2021

Though I deferred to the next intake

Hope you have paid for the return courier? One of their agents told me that it takes 24-48 hours before the verify payments.

For others, it's better to pay once you receive this email:

The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. ***************** has been received from the IRCC Office and has been dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre Lagos OC.

If you pay by then, it'll be faster to confirm and process return for you.

How can I get the LOI ?

Thanks

@Frankrobnn1 I sent a webform to Lagos visa office and after submission I saw this, does it mean it takes 28days to get a response after submission of a webform.

In my experience it takes 11 days. Longest I ever experienced was 18days.
