Thank you SO much for the info you provided.

Please can I pm you?

giselle237:

I do not know so much about ur situation but il try to give an overview.
Yes they are your nieces, they are minors. Aged 7 to 9 according to you.
U also wish to carry them across borders without their parents, in our time of child trafficking the Ukvi always wants to be very wary of such applications.
Biological parents when applying for visas for minors(people less than 18) and they would all be going as a family must submit consent letters to the UKVI signed by both parents to reiterate in writing what they are doing, talk more of an aunty/uncle saying the parents of the kids wont travel with them and he/she wants to take them and bring them back.

Let one parent travel alongside and bring them to the UK for holidays. This would be easier.
Or apply for one parent and the 3 kids, when the visa is out, the parent can decide not to travel.
They simply take them to the airline and declare them as unaccompanied minors.
Declaration forms for each child will be filled, you the person picking them at the airport on the other side, your documents and information would be collated from their parents at the airport in Nigeria.
They would then be given name tags and taken into ‘temporal care’ by the airline.
The airline would take sole responsibility of them, and make sure of their safety.
However the parent must wait at the Nigerian airport until the flight departs.
If there is a transiting flight, the kids would be helped off the plane by the airline when they get to the stop, cleared across the border control, taken to the 1st class lounge during any transit or waiting period and basically be pampered.
They would not stay on any queues at border control and so on, the airline staff would be in charge of everything that concerns them.
When it’s time to get on another flight, another airline staff will take them to the plane directly and make sure they are seated for the continuation of their next flight.
When they land in the UK, same airline staff would help clear them across the border and their luggage and make sure they are handed over to only you on arrival.
You must check with the airline, different airlines, different policies for this service.

I also know for a fact kids go on holiday or group excursions abroad with guardians or teachers and they are granted visas so i know it is possible and a strongly worded consent letter can work.

I recommend that the letter be signed by every non-accompanying parent with the legal right to make major decisions for the child and duly notarized.

I found a few things online , might help.
Who knows.

Things have changed sha. From your refusal letter I note it was 2017.. at the moment o, self employed and employed people have gotten visas without personal income tax clearance certificate . So dnt worry about that. However pls whenever u want to apply... keep away your business account menaing don’t put it in the fore of your application as funds in your business account is for the running of your business and not for your personal problms, do not mix up funds in the two, have a fixed savings acct for ur salary that you would be paying yourself monthly, show clean records and address the reason for your refusal.

Giselle something confuses me...you know for individuals who have businesses but gets paid by thier business (submits personal account with clear monthly earnings from their business), when filling the form is it advisable to tick self employed (because u own a business) or tick employed (or because you re employed by yur business that pays you salary)

Hello great ones. Pls help me out my son is going for students visa on the 15th and I also applied for a 2 years visa. My salary is 70k but I own a shop and earn more than 400k a month. I printed my 6 months bank statement with opening balance of 18m and closing bal of 298000. I stated my monthly expenses as 300k and I will be spending 3m.for my expenses. My husband is sponsoring me and my son. The account bal he used to get an admission for my son was 10m.
The question now is do I need to submit my statement of personal account and my salary account. In my salary account there is no much money.
Also, should my husband submit a new bank statement or we should use the one he used for CAS which is 10m bal.

Thank you

I might not have the answer to all your questions but I do know that the 3million you have stated for your expenses will come to bite you back hard and fast. U said ur son is goin as a student so I’m guessing maybe the rest of his fees or the rest of his maintenance is in there.
1. How did you then come about spending 3million on a trip . A sponsored one at tht. Pls outline.

2. U will need to print a new statement for yourself if the one used for the CAS is outdated. However for your son, they have rules for student visa application and printing of bank statemnt so check on the student thread for that.

3. Have u received a visa to UK before? Do you have any travel history to any countries?

Hold on, the great ppl in the house who have recently received visas as business people should be able to help us best.

They have recently been to the embassy and came out positively so will be able to give a proper account of the pulse of the ECOs now.

Pls if u in this category can you pls help us answer @irenewaka’s question.

Thank you so much. We will be utterly grateful.

In addition to what my boss said:

The 3million is more than 2 months disposable income which will not fly. If your salary is 70k, do you pay your self from the money you earn from your shop ?

Let's assume your salary is 70k + 400k= 470k
Monthly expenses 300k
So you have 170k left per month and you want to spend 3million for a trip. It can't fly.

Is the statement of account with high balance for your business, salary or savings ?
If its savings how was it accumulated?
If it's for your business it doesn't have any effect on your application.

As for the statement of acct you used in getting your son's COS make sure it's a recent statement of account and the money has been there for 28 days.

Is this your first application to the UK ?

Yes I have travelled to the UK and France before. Pls I said my husband is sponsoring me and has enough money in his account. My own account is just a back up account. He has 17m in his account now. The statement of account we used for CAS was 10m.i am not self sponsored .

I just want to find out if it is necessary to attach my statement of account to my husband's own. That is all

Even if you are sponsored... 3million is a lot to be your budget. Put a realistic budget.
Flight
Hotel
Feeding
And maybe miscellaneous can not reach 3m.
Pls dnt think the visa officer would be impressed by your high budget, infact he will siddon very well ontop your case.

If u get the visa and decide to go there and spend even the whole 17m , absolutely noone will disturb you.

Ur husband that is sponsoring you, his disposable income is it 1.5m? Pls be on the safe side before you chop denial.

Even if your husband has 17m on his account, pls also note that every penny will be scrutinized. So I hope there are no inconsistent deposits and withdrawals without verifiable evidence? UK visa of now is no longer like before.

I will advice u allow ur son get his student visa first. When it comes out, u then apply for ur visit visa. This is my opinion.
Before you go with this ur budget and so many stories and the ECO starts judging the finances from the point of two applications.
