it is brand new if it wasn't they would say so , they ( NAF ) would tell you it is second hand . There is no shame in that . The NAF did inform us when they got second hand equipment from the NNPC and the CUSTOMS ( The two bells). IMHO They need to get 12 more mi-171 brand new or second hand it doesn't make a difference.
IMHO what is important ( not discounting your opinion , respectfully ):
It is a G2- G2 sanctioned event / It came with spares/ it will be fitted in Nigeria so our boys will get further practical experience/ More rockets.

This helicopters aren't brand new, they're second hand, when i was brand new i was surprised, because when the first mi 171e was inducted with the aw109 attack helicopters, it was stated first of second hand helicopter, with a second one expected.

More so, Serbia only maintains helicopters from not only Eastern Europe, but western Europe, not actually manufacture.

imminent doesn't mean the same thing in nigeria as it does outside nigeria.

And your point is what exactly because the spokesperson said it was brand new and you showed a document saying it wasn't, what exactly is your point?
It won't fly ?
It was manufactured in Russia, sold to Serbia, sold to Nigeria.
It' is not capable of carrying troops?
Nigeria doesn't need this type of helicopter?
What exactly is your obsession?
America promised to give Nigeria brand new Apaches
Please we all await your answer with bated breath
perhaps while you at it you will also explain what the AFGHANs use angry

Every nation's that has engaged in insurgency knows that bringing in mercenary on ur ownland only stops ur military from developing ... The money Nigeria would spend in procuring new equipment for our soldiers would be spent in trying to keep the mercenaries fighting... One other thing about mercenaries is, u ve just introduced new opportunities of making the war a source of employment, and if care is not taking, it will continue to be a source of employment

Every normal military does it. it is not normal for military officers to replace their guns with walking sticks in a battle zone, be they generals or not.
what alarms every nigerian who sees these pictures is the question of "are these guys stupid ?"
How do you want nigerians to have faith in the judgement of officers who go into a gun fight with walking sticks instead of gun ?

Bro, unlike before, we have seen the aircraft in Pakistan and also seen NAF pilots being trained in Pakistan (unlike before when they hadn't been payed for.) The construction of 3 JF-17 only started when the Pakistani Government gave a sovereign guarantee for the sum of the contract in 2018.

The delay could be anything from pilot training not yet completed to logistics on delivery.

If there is any guarantee with this CAS, it is that things get done.

Keep dreaming, forget reality. Nigerians don't like reality. That might be a consequence of the average IQ score of 70 in nigeria.
