North is just pretending to wanna end Bokoharam but in reality they are not serious! This pretense will be your undoing, that's why I want Southern Nigeria breakout!
Arrewa:
Youths started forming these vigilante groups in June, 2012 in Maiduguri - the capital of Borno State and former seat of BH’s leadership - when they became fed up with BH’s incessant killings.

CJTF members patrol the streets armed with machetes, bows and arrows and sticks, identifying BH suspects, whom they turn in to the government security Joint Task Force (JTF). At times they also attack or even kill suspects themselves. Once a self-organized group, most members now receive US$113 per month from the Borno State government.

Alhamdulila! peace shall one day reign in Maiduguri...

The people have really suffered in the hands of those foolish, ignorant Animals sponsored by powerful people in Government.

As they go out to secure the region, I pray they find and kill hundreds of these scumbags..

Nigeria don cast. Regions or states should have control of their internal security. This unitary system is total rubbish and may likely collapse the country.

Hmmmm a country called nigeria, and we have military that will rather shoot this innocent youth and leave the BH, kudos to borno state governor. This was a once very peaceful state in the north.

it is well with Nigeria. We practically do everything for ourselves in this country with this government looking on.

How can a sane government leave the security of it citizens in the hand of the people.

what they are very good at is increase fuel price, increase electrical tariff and tax the living daylight out of the people.
posterity will judge everyone who made Nigeria a mockery to the world.

Kudos to the youth, I salute their bravery
brother, the thing tire everybody o!! here kaduna, security is 0.1 on a scale of 1 to 10, and Nothing is being done about the whole thing..

Boko haram, fulani terrorists, bandits, ISWAP and bornu youths all same people with different uniforms and modus operandi.

Btw, The West have Amotekun, South have Avengers, and North have Hisbah and bornu youths but when IPOB established BIAFRA SECURITY SERVICES (BSS), all these hypocrites went gaga and shouted on top of their voices until BSS was dismantled. One begins to see clearly that the whole issues was borne out of pure hatred and envy.

What is the hatred there? He is making a statement of fact.
How do you face Boko Haram armed with aks, rpgs, Gun trucks with anti aircraft guns mounted on them, pkm machine guns etc with pump action shotguns and few rusty aks buttressed with cutlass? It will be a massacre!
Anyway, it is better to die fighting that be slaughtered like cattle.
More power to the brave guys.

They should have waited for Buhari to protect them. Next time when the name Buhari is mentioned to their hearing, they should rather spit away or place a curse on him and his entire generation. Nonsense.

These are young men and women (Civilian JTF) that suppose to be in schools or their business places, like any other Nigerian, but because of the nature of where they found themselves, they joined Civilian JTF to fight against Boko Haram insurgents.

State police is what I just saw. Are they answerable to the IG? Who approved the use of those assault rifles for them? Who trained them? Who regulates their activities? Who disciplines them and ensure they do not go overboard and abuse the rights of other law abiding citizens?
Much it is good to applaud the self-help project, we need to ask some questions.

By the way why are Amotekun and Enugu Forest Guards not carrying AK-47 rifles like their Borno counterparts? Are they not fighting the same cause?

I think the IG mentioned state police is the way to go, even the President has okayed state police, after the recent chaos, they realised you can not secure the whole country, from Abuja central command, state police has been okayed, even the senate knows the expediency of it, and Borno is an exceptional case of incessant violence and attacks. Other state governors should mobilise and stop stashing and embezzling the commonwealth of their people. Most governors are lazy thieves, Zulum is exceptional, God bless him. A shining star.
