There is no visible difference between Northern Nigeria and Niger.
Some Nigeria politicians have roots from Niger.
So, whatever they are doing is not strange.
Give Niger electricity, build railways into Niger and the normal open borders of the North are not unusual things.

You are correct.

This rail line is utter madness as far as I'm concerned.

We do not even have a rail line from Ibadan to Abuja. neither Kaduna to Kano. So how exactly does the line from Kano to Niger make sense Even if it is supposed to be to facilitate trade to Niger Republic, are we saying that goods will transit from rail to trucks in Ibadan for the Abuja segment? Then move back to rail for Abuja Kaduna, then back to truck for Kaduna Kano, then on to rail again!!!!?

We are indeed cursed in the country!!! Only a miracle of biblical proportions can save this country from the sheer madness of its leaders. Buhari is actually the most ethnically and nepotistic motivated President we have ever had. As well as the most illiterate and incompetent!!!

How many stations, rail bridges, frame bridges and culverts will be part of the construction?

Is the rail line going to be electrified?

Is it double or single track?

What will be the maximum speed the trains can travel?

Mombasa to Nairobi was awarded at $6.6m per km.

Addis Ababa to Djibouti was awarded at $5.7m per km. (Eventually costed $5.9m per km)

Dar-es-Salaam to multiple East African cities was awarded at $3.0m per km.

This Kano to Madi is being awarded at $5.2m per km.

All these railway contracts were awarded to China.

Has Nigeria ever spent 1 trillion naira
on any road project in this country?

Yet, we are borrowing money to build
road into the poorest desert country
in the world because Buhari has relations
from that country Niger republic.

Another fooolish, moronic contribution from a half-literate.

What road project will cost such?

This is as foolish as asking "has the US ever built a car that cost as much as a plane"?

Are you really asking? Most of these people are not actually Nigerians.
Alot f the people we call Aboki are Nigeriens. They can't even speak correct Hausa language, until they've blended well.
If you check very well, you'll realize Buhari's parent are from up there.

It's not too bad if the government decides to spend #1trillion on reconstructing the deathtraps you call roads in Nigeria.

Yes, definitely.

But there is no road that costs N1trillion.

Railways cost that easily.

Making such comparison shows no thinking before talking.

Only a bush, ignorant buffffoonish
charlatan like you can make such a
senseless post..

It appears you don't know that many
cars are costlier than some airplanes.

You also are too ddimwitted to know
that 1km of some roads costs more than
1km of rail.

Keep coming to SM with such a childish
moniker to advertise your infantile ccretinism.⚠⚠⚠

The Rich Northerners do not believe in the North, aside the big farms most of their investment are not in the North.
After many years of permit request from FG for Abacha family to build University in Kano PDP govt denied them that chance, they built it in Niger Republic. Obasanjo killed Nigerian Electricity more than any other wicked leader in Nigerian history which consequently affected Northern Nigeria the most. Dangote and BUA and many northern business moguls relocated to south were Obasanjo built abt 8 strong power stations and pipeline which feed the industries of mainly Ogun and Lagos state.
So, u think they don't believe in the North because of ur poor understanding of economic factors of locating industries?
Many industries are finding it hard to survive in the North due to serious sabotage of OBJ, I don't think we can forgot the old baboon. He slyly killed our Industrial potentials at the detriment of others.
