Well said, I enjoy the fact that you didn't deviate from the truth. Nigeria is big no doubt but other African nations are not obsessed about us.
No they're not obsessed. They just can't live without our music, our movies, our fashion fads, and even our pidgin English and mannerisms.

If you have no idea the massive cultural influence Nigeria is exerting over Africa and the Caribbean, you lack basic awareness and common sense.

Aside, Nigeria's music which has a massive fan base within and outside Africa, there's nothing else that influences blacks from other countries.

Your pidgin English starts and ends in West Africa with the exception of Senegal who have a distinct version of pidgin. In the Caribbeans they speak Patois and in Eastern, and Southern Africa, they speak just English and no pidgin at all.

The only place Nigeria's culture thrive outside Nigeria is in places you find immigrants, who were either victims of slave trade, or relocated at will to these countries.

These days every one including Nigerians are fixated on Hollywood movies from Black Americans to take note of movies released in Nigeria.
Unless you can dispute my arguments with facts (data and statistics), there should be no need throwing further tantrums.

Even your argument was not made with data and statistics.

You just said what you know which might be wrong or right but you expect another to dispute it with data and statistics. shocked

True though but I can provide data and stats, if the need arises.

Dullard, by Pidgin, I was referring to the fad in which many Africans, who grew up on Nigerian films, now use pidgin words in their informal dialogues, from 'oga' to ending their sentences with 'o'. You will find this in places like Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, etc.

Plus if like me, you have traveled to the Caribbean, you would know that Nollywood movies are sold and bought everywhere there, with Nigerian actors and actresses household names in places like Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia among others.

And it is a travesty and utterly stupid to compare the pitifully small output of black Hollywood to Nollywood, the 3rd largest movie industry on earth, or to falsely claim that Nigerians and Africans are "fixated" on black American movies. That's delusional.

Nigerians are the ones obsessed with other Africans. Nigeria is just a small boy in Africa.

Is it not the same Nigerians that are coming to disturb Ghanaians that their jellof rice tastes bad, meanwhile, they ignore.
Ghana who?

Black Americans really love projecting their wishes onto Africans.

Rubbish talk!

Rossntti:
No, it's not lies. In Ghana all you play is Nigerian music and watch Nollywood films.

In fact I heard there was a time the govt there wanted to ban Nigerian music and films, but the Ghanaian public threatened to riot, so the decision was reversed.
