Part of the negotiations should be that ASUU will get only two months salaries as an act of good faith from the government. Even the two months is like a bonus.

Because when i count the number of months ASUU have spent at home from just 2017 to now, it's almost thrice the ones they've spent on their jobs.
Their major motivation for embarking on incessant strikes at any given opportunity is their belief that it won't affect their salaries one way or another.

ASUU is part of the problem not the solution. As long as ASUU exists we’ll continue to have strikes in schools (they believe they’ll get paid regardless of how long they sit at home).

Asking to be paid salaries is akin to students asking to be promoted to the next class upon resumption.
