You should send the original copy of the biometric slip that was issued to you after your biometrics enrollment. Kindly print out two copies of the VFS consent form and duly sign the page 2 of the document.

Hi Guys,

I am doing my upfront medical soon at Q-life.

Please what do I need to take there? Also is there anything I would have to send to IRCC after the medicals myself or it’s the clinic that would send to IRCC?

Also how long does it take for IRCC to evaluate the medical result?

For upfront medical exam, you need to take along with you the following documents;

1. Original of your international passport.
2. Proof of payment for upfront medical exam

After the completion of your medical exam, you will be given an E-medical slip which bears your UMEI number. You will be required to send a copy of the E-medical slip via the IRCC webform, so that it will be uploaded in your application.

Q-life takes about 5 days to send your medical result to IRCC through the designated panel Physician platform.

Congrats Olasubomi.
So happy for you. You are.like the first NSE person I know that has scalled through. I pray for grace for the rest who are waiting and hoping too.

Pls, the account statement used, was the whole 10000cad pof requested complete from day one till one year or it was built small small till it met the NSE requirements? Cos my account has like 1.5 now. I intend adding to it before I apply mid next year.
Did you do academic or general?
olasubomy:

Yes i got request for NSE to submit mybankstatement certificate but my sponsor bank (Standard Chartered) which had the major fund is not on the mybankstatement platform.

What i did was to get another printed copy of the statement showing transaction for 1 year and got the bank to stamp all the pages and was able to convince the bank to send the statement via courier to the Canadian embassy in Lagos and quote my applicaton and UCI no on the waybill.

So i uploaded a one page letter of explanation ( notifying the VO that Standard Chartered is not on mybankstatement platform) reason this was sent by courier. + uploaded the waybill tracking sheet (UPS) + stamped soft copy of that same bank statement +mybank statement certificate ( for my own salary account - Stanbic IBTC) and submitted.

That was the initiative i took.

You pay this fee N7430 only on the account that you didn't capture your biometrics in the Visa application centre. I will advice you pay two way courier, in this case you wouldn't have to pay for any transmission fee.

Thanks a lot for your response.

Tired of waiting for a response since I submitted on the 17th of July.

Is there anyone who submitted in July without a feedback yet?

I believe an upfront medical would be the best decision as your application has taken longer than expected. I know of an applicant whose application took a very long time without any update from IRCC. I advised him to proactively opt for upfront medicals, which he did and it resulted to an approval of his application last week. Accordingly, I'll advise you do same.

After the medical exams, you can send a copy of the E-medical slip via this medium: IRCC WEBFORM NAIRAOBI

Have you requested for the visa officer's case notes (GCMS NOTES) to be aware of what's stalling the application from reaching a conclusive decision? In the event that you're yet to do so, I will recommend you order for your file as soon as possible. Once you've received it, do well to share with the knowledgeable members of this thread, so we can tell you the actual facts of your application.

People that travelled recently, how did you go about this?

when did your eligibility start
sorry I'm asking too much questions I got NSE requesting for only ielts which i did paper based still waiting for the results but I didn't do upfront medicals

I noticed they have not been sending medical request for some time now. Maybe they feel if you don't do upfront medical, it means you don't need to resume urgently. I would advice you book for an upfront medical and hope for the best.

It was built over time. You can keep adding more funds since you have till mid next year but make sure the inflows are consistent (but avoid lumpsums) to some extent and be ready to give an explanation on the source of funds in your statement of purpose and support documents to back it up. Something that looks convincing. You can try to appeal to Hounorable Frank to help proof reaf your SOP or Justmellow or any of the guru in the house when you are ready.

I submitted IELTS Academic but i think General is also acceptable.

All the best.

This is the 3rd time South Africa and Schengen will pick up, they’ll transfer the call and the automated message will say they’re unavailable. The last person asked if I was able to reach them via chat, so I’m not sure the Canada vac will pick up anytime soon

I swear, what ielts is doing to me is not fair. After paying then the guy is calling me to tell me it full that I should select 11th, something that I'd be working on Friday and I chose Saturday because I'd be free. Now it's me he saw to tell that rubbish too. It's not fair

You have done the needful,

but did you also send the E-MEDICAL SHEET TO THE THREE CIC NAIROBI E-MAIL ADDRESSES?

If you didn't, make sure you do so,
