Adam was never meant to die at all if he never ate the fruit. In fact, we wouldn't even be counting the years he lived if he never disobeyed God's command.
God made it clear that in the day that Adam ate the fruit, he would die. From God's perspective, a thousand years is like a day.[Psalm 90:4, 2Peter 3:8] so since Adam died at 930-years, it meant that he didn't live up to a day(1,000years) in God's eyes.

Jehovah provided the following for both Adam and Eve:
1. A beautiful home. Genesis 2:8
2. A marriage partner. Genesis 2:21-24
3. Nutritious food. Genesis 2:9,16
4. Satisfying work. Genesis 1:28, 2:15
5. Prospect of living forever. Genesis 2:17

I opened a thread because I did not want this discussion lost in that thread. If I hadn't opened a thread you'd likely not have seen his response or contributed your's. Max will himself inform you we have been here before.

No, not exactly, since God never wrote the text I'm discussing here.

More accurate would be to say that what God is written to have said did not exactly happen but what the serpent is written to have said did.

Isn't it sort of odd for you to claim the eating of the fruit at least 800 years ago killed him? I mean, does that not seem like a very ineffective poison to you or that at least the person who forbade them eating the fruit lied to Adam for some reason?

Instead we read that Adam's eyes opened and he saw that he was naked. And he and his wife stopped being slaves and got their own farm instead of working for the owner of the Garden of Eden whom some think is their God!

If we teach this to the Adams and Eves in the North of Nigeria would alimanjeri not be eliminated through education and be freed from the slavery they are kept under?

Is it not the truth that the entire teachings of Christ is "Eat fully of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil so thy days may be as long as Adam's?

God never wrote any of the other texts we discuss elsewhere either, so it does not matter that He did not write the text with His own hands for us to read.

No junkie. It is you who infers. And it does matter that He did not write it with his own hands since it is relevant to its understanding.

Something is clearly wrong if a loving Almighty God would rather keep Adam and Eve as ignorant naked slaves especially if that same God blessed them at creation and told them to “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth”, which I doubt they'd be able to do if they did not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil to learn how it should be done.

But let's go by your reckoning, shall we. You mentioned a thousand years was like a day in God's eyes. So, Adam lived 900 times 1000 years before he died, yet you want to claim the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil he ate when he was 120 (times 1000) years old killed him when it is clearly written that people die of ignorance.

Do tell, Is the knowledge of good and evil poison that kills? Can a person who eats of the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil still be ignorant?
