Hmmm... The last two days has been interesting on this thread. Plenty "gbas gbos"( I learnt this on this forum).

The fact that we quarrel goes to show we are humans. We know each other on a daily...

Enhen. abeg, I've been following this thread for more than 2years now and I think I'm interested in e-hailing. My savings will be 300k by January ending God's willing. I intend depositing this money for a Nigerian used car on hire purchase. Please what brand is best to start with?. If you say Corolla, abeg give me tips to disable the "thief magnet"

I'm based in Benin. And I plan on doing 25k weekly on hire purchase. Is it possible for me to net 30k weekly after balance?

Please use your worse day in Lagos to help me analyze as average in Benin.

Thanks.

Don't even bother asking for how much you can make with those two bolded words in your narrative, Nigerian used car on HP, my brother you need to have rethink, 300k no b small money o.

If I was in your shoes, though I don't know your pocket and money expectancy, I will rather save up like 650k and go for a Nigerian used , than make a payment of 300k to collect a naija used car that might be costing 2m. My brother think o

In addition, I am not trying to discourage you my bother cos I don't know you story or your circumstances but if you would settle for the car ensure you carry out an extensive professional profiling of the car, the state of the gears, the state of the engine, check the car batteries, electrical condition the car, and other important information, because a bad car will affect your earning and in the case of HP, it can affect the terms of your contract when you fail to remit at agreed day, the original owner of the car can repossess his/her car and your 300k is surely non refundable.

Thanks for your input...

You mention that I will not like your opinion for the out of town trip...how many car owners will approve their drivers do out of state trip , without their permission .. Out of state trip is a big no no in this business..

For some reason I think you are now become part of the drivers association .. You seems to support a lot of their nonsense here and you agree with them a lot. For whatever reasons I don't know, Am not talking with malice here , but just observations ... i

In my book right is right and wrong is wrong no matter who it is . I tend to be vocal here on nairaland due to the fact that I answer to nobody and nobody pays my bill . It allows me to talk not only objectively, but also without bias ..

Again I want to say I have no ill feelings towards him. I parted ways for different reasons. I just wanted to clear the Air up on your post here.. Thank you for your time

I have to make the scene interesting to keep members coming back nagringrin

But wait oh did that man just called me mentally derailed? Well, just like I've said before I will say again... I'm but a change person, won't engage him or swim in the mud with a pig because I'm more honorable than that.

for the records na only once we change oil for the motor ooh all tru out the 7months car was in my constudy and his mechanics did the oil change themselves not me. The oil currently under my possession was given to me by his wife 4days b4 Mr. Perfect retrieved his car and it was mainly for topping... I topped it that same morning b4 driving down to his house that morning so what is left in the jerican should be like 3lts or so but since he has confirmed he doesn't need it I'll dispose it as soon as I get home today because its junk to me. As for the spare keys, I've thrown that one away the day after I saw the car put up for sale.

Mr. Andrew with all due respect please don't insult my person ever again please I beg you in God's name because I know I've NEVER NEVER done you any wrong neither do I own you anything so please live and let's live. Because I see no reason you of all persons with your level of exposure open you mandibles and call a fellow man like you "mentally ill" unless you want to tell us you're sick or going nut in the head because only sick people identify a sick person.

so dru23 was simply curled from Andrew. Hmm, things are becoming clearer

No wonder IFSHR they attack me left and right, please i will be needing your service.

I'm planning on suing Lagos state Gov, regarding that one way law, stripping car owner of their vehicle, bc of an offense. That law is most likely breach of fundamental right.

No matter how you check even with the best engineer, you cannot detect it until you starr using it, you can buy a naija use car now that engine is shorting oil within 3days, how will you know except you start using it.

No, that's not whatbreally pained me. My pain was that I felt betrayed by someone I hold in a very high esteem. You needed to see the way I respect this guy, even without letting him know. I was down to earth to him, I did errands for his wife, we discuss other businesses and I offer my experience advice and even put in little efforts. I can remember a timenhe called me to seek advice before buying one civic he shipped down. I've been a Honda fan for many years so i know a few things one can bank on. Even during the covid19 lockdown I was the one who informed him about the evacuation by the united state government which he left with the following week. I didn't see him as just my boss but like an elderly brother. I never for once cheated neither did missed used the priority I'd.

The ine that broke the camels back was... How can you make a mockery of somebody that trusted you by relating his personal worries to you?" He said something like, literally, "having a spot for his w*f*". Menh... I was like. Really??!! That was where I think our problem started.

But I Thank God its all in the past now chai b4 them go come accuse me of what I've no knowledge of ooh... Thank God he even retrieved his car because I believe God used that to rescue me from bigher problem ahead.

Anyways, I've apologise to him even when i know I did no wrong and I've long move on but it obvious my Oga is still pained. If that is the case baba please im sorry for anything, every where i may have wrong you please sorry.

God bless you.

Peace.
I beg to disagree with the bolded. You narrated here on this forum how your former boss gave money to beggars on your way to radautoworks but refused to pay for your Jamaican rice. You were very disrespectful.
Apart from that, the way and manner you address your former boss doesn't show you respect him sir.
All the same, be the bigger person by tendering your apology because tomorrow is a mystery. Cheers

No i did not talked down the price, what you see i put up there is what that scanner is been sold, you need it, let me know, i can get it for you at the rate of 3k, direct from china.

I'm only letting the public know how much that scanner is sold and as well inform people that usually go and scan their car for 5k, that they can actually buy that scanner for 3k. Whatever code it gives you google will help you, then direct ur mechanic on what to do.

Exactly what i have been thinking Ma,

Besides if a car is shorting oil, u will only be doing the top up at home early in the morning, ull definitely not topping it anytime of the day and also not be carrying the oil keg around.

The 20w50 u saw was it filled with oil when it was found in the trunk?

I still believe there is a miscommunication and prejudice is what is happening here.
