If your school fees and living expenses amount to 8m, then 11m is enough
CAC document and tax certificate serve as proof that you sponsor has a profitable and legit business, which in turn is proof of availability of funds
I am guessing your mum is your co-sponsor, if so a 1M deed of gift would suffice. A company account whom she is the sole proprietor and signatory of, is still very ok.
Motun667:
Pls is 11million naira okay if my school fees plus expenses is 8million but this is in my sponsor account (father)

Secondly is a cac document and tax certificate a source of income

And thirdly which is better to show my mum company account as source of income or she should send one million naira to my account and do a gift deed

Its simple.. Go to the program you want to apply and click on apply.. It will direct you to the Ontario college portal. You fill your details and it takes you to your school admission portal.

OK thank you

If they insist on agent, and you're not comfortable with it, then apply to another school.
Lambton College told me to contact their agent here, agent said 60k first to start anything
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by KRTL: 7:34pm On Dec 08, 2020
Ok thank you
JayLaw2:
You don’t need an agent. You can apply directly to the school as an international student. I’m also going to Humber. Simply go to the school’s website, click on programs. On your selected program page, click on “HOW TO APPLY”. There’s a session for international student. Click on “APPLY THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE”
This is a pretty easy and direct process you can handle yourself. Go through the program requirement and upload the necessary documents you need. All the best!

The embassy is now sending stamped passports in batches again. Like when they have stamped it, they hold some back to send when they like. So pathetic

I got a collection email today. I called them and they said the will send me the payment email before the end of the week, even after I told them I have already paid for the collection.

Please how did you call them? Can I get the mobile number? I've been trying to reach them but no success.

Hi Honorable,

No Visa is easy to get via any DLI (School) , you have to work for it by proofing to a Visa Officer you are a genuine student & your purpose of visit to Canada is to study

The two skool u mentioned & the 1 year/2 years program duration has nothing to do with your Visa Chances.

The only thing a 2 years Post Graduate Certificate program will give you is "more time to process Permanent Residence if u wanna stay back in Canada after your studies"

Omo yesterday i did my Listening, Reading, Writing computer based and Speaking for IELTS. My head BLOW! But it went well. My result will be out next week Monday or Tuesday.

I want to ask, if one scores 6.0 in all modules except reading scores like 5.0. Can one still upload it on the NSE application? Even if the person didn’t meet up and taking their chances

This reading test spoilt my ietls
Overall 6.5

and reading naw gave me 5.5 chaiiii but just hope for the best.

I know its really late. Yeah, my first admission letter was for fall 2020.
I'll book my medical appointment tomorrow. I called them this afternoon and realised I can only call between 8am-10am.
As for ielts test, only Abuja has computer based for this year and it is on 12th December. Too close. I'm confused.

I plead that the gurus attend to this my case o.

Thank you.

iampaulsmith:
November 26 is late for someone that wants to resume Winter 2021. All you can do now is to pray and hope for a fast processing time. Yes the medical can also help reduce the processing time. Was your first admission letter for Fall 2020?
I’m sure frank and frat will have a better advice for you. Just wait for them.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Oluwayemisi0507: 9:36pm On Dec 08, 2020
@sleekcheek, Thank you so much for your response. I will book my medical appointment tomorrow. As for the ielts, there is no ielts test for Lagos this year again and the only date in Abuja is this Saturday, 12th December.

I really I'm hoping for the best.

By the way, I wrote an ielts test last year July but it is Ielts general and I feel it will send a wrong signal if I attach that.

What do you think

Please guys, contribute ooooo.

Nagode.

sleekcheek:
I think your best bet will be to hope for NSE request and yes please do an upfront medicals asap since you cannot defer the admission past winter 2021.

You can also start preparing for the ielts exam so when the NSE requests comes you can book for the next available date.

The reading is so annoying. I also had 5.5 twice and I don’t think I want to write it again. Very annoying

There's a possibility of getting approved but note that your application will be highly scrutinized due to immigration history with the US. However, I'll advise that the person wait out the 5 years and in that period, maintain solid home ties to home country and visit other visa required countries to reduce the image of 'desperation'. Ire o!

Thanks for your advice.

Whatever scores that come out, not writing again. The cost for the test is high.

With this, you chances are super slim to impossible alas purpose of visit

Why not a bsc in a university instead of college and a pre-nursing cos canada dont offer nursing to internationals
. Thank you & God bless The issue is that the Bsc nursing is expensive Its fir 4 years . Besides I think the pre nursing is too short eg 1 year

I doubt that I'll upload it cause my yeye agent told gave me 3 days to prepare for it blah blah and I feel I didn't have enough time to prepare so I'll probably rewrite before I reapply
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Ijeanwuli: 11:22pm On Dec 08, 2020
You can pass the ielts
Just do like 4 sessions of practice tests
Study the tips and tricks
Your timeline is close so NSE is the way

Pre nursing isn't one year. It's called pre-nursing because you'll take the course for a year and upon successful completion of your first year program, you'll automatically qualify to the bsc nusing program and move to level 200.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by iampaulsmith(m): 12:23am On Dec 09, 2020
Most schools I know allow students to defer as long as a year.
As for the NSE, they didn’t specify Academic or General. As long as you have a score of 6.0 in all the sections, you are good to go. Did you indicate that you have an IELTS result while filling your SP application? Then you can even go ahead and get a MBS and upload it via a webform. Nothing is too much.
