there is no excuse for sitting on a cs incision. That woman will end up dead. Saddest she can incur internal hemorrhages and increased intracranial pressure with all the blows to her head. She needs to move on from that man. He will murder her.

It doesn't matter.
At least, she will die a Mrs Somebody.
Good luck to her.

Anyone supporting this ‘reconciliation’ is an accursed clown.

How can you see someone come out to report a long running crime of assault and you’re cheering on a ‘reconciliation’ so he will continue to beat her ? You think the man will suddenly change?

You’re holding press conference with the woman still having bruises on her face. Nonsense.

post=96879609:
The video we saw Ifeyinwa make was still her own side of the story; the man in question has not said his own side of the story.
This is not to condone beating in marriage but to explain that in matters of crisis management, the two sides of the story should be heard.

But for that sort of injury we saw on her face,
And he sitting on her tummy after a CS,
The Channels TV man must be a semi-animal in human skin!

We Rise!

You have a very good point here bro.
He could be as guilty as charged.

One of us @ who is a Barrister just
told us that, Sometimes in law, SILENCE MEANS CONSENT!

If that is the way your hate-filled brain interprete our post,
We owe you no explanation!
We don't have the time to school you like a 5 year old....Okay?
Get Busy with life, the year is almost over.
No Cap!

This is basically condoning domestic violence.

Incidentally, I learnt a woman set fire on her husband and he had to be hospitalised in the same Benue state after she saw the governor settling quarrel for this couple.
I hope the governor would also go and help settle their marital crises too.

This is not to condone beating in marriage but to explain that in matters of crisis management, the two sides of the story should be heard. I find it interesting that many ladies are calling for the head of Pius. They forget that what is actually playing out in situations when men beat their wives is simply the stronger subduing the weaker. Many women also physically abuse their house-helps who they have greater strength over. Thus this matter is the issue of a depraved heart playing out in a fallen world; it is more than just a man beating a woman.

But the man refuses to share his story. I learnt he is a cheater and womaniser. I think the man should speak up if he has nothing to hide.
Don't mind them asking for his side of the story. He will tell them his side of the story after he must have killed her. As if his side of the story will justify his act. Why doesn't the wife him to when he misbehaves. Why must it always be the woman receiving beating for bad behavior while the man get praises for his own bad behaviors?

What the governor did was likely the number one wish of the woman.

What I see here is some audio settlement just to please the person of the governor. That mad dog called Anbo would definitely get high and beat the living day light out of his wife again in no distance time because chronic wife beaters like him hardly change.

She said "I do" after they read the vows to her which includes, "... I take thee for better... For worse! " As for Ortom, he just claimed the blessing that awaits peacemakers in Matthew Chapter 5. And what God has joined together, let no Nairalander put asunder with their keyboards. She saw responsible men before she fell for her irresponsible husband!

The governor did nothing wrong. Moreover, if you want to adopt the "Whitman's way of marriage" I think it should cut across all sections including the bride prize. With this men will not have a subconscious reasoning that they bought their wives. Instead see it as "we agreed to come together " simple.

"28But don’t begin until you count the cost.
For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?
29Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you.
30They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’
"
- Luke 14:28-30

What you dont know the value of, you'll misuse, abuse and disuse will be the last stop for such thing. Marriage, is no exception to this and so, is not really for every one. Our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, did not marry. Apostle Paul was not married. Jephthah's daughter did not marry (i.e. she dedicated her life to the service of God)

"10... it is better not to marry.”
11But He said to them,
“Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.
"
- Matthew 19:10b-11

Yes, in Genesis 2:18, it does say that, it is not good for mankind (i.e. human beings) to be alone, but note that Adam understood the importance of marriage, aside from love, companionship and relationship, that at Genesis 3:20, he named his wife, Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living (i.e. template)

Don't contemplate marriage, if you have no understanding, that, in marriage, there's has to be three persons. Marriage, if its your portion, is just a training ground, on where to sharpen your unconditional love and relationship skills.

Bottom line is that you need to have head start, know what exactly are you expecting to get from marriage and also what you are prepared to give in the marriage.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR_w4sbWs3k

VBCampaign, fyi, Deji Yesufu, in his write up, didn't mention the philandering of Pius Angbo that Dr Ifeyinwa Angbo referred to, in the widely circulated video of her ordeal, as the root cause of why her husband, seasoned reporter with Channels Television, Pius Angbo, pummelled and sat on her, because she tried to suggest that he stop using money on for his sexual exploits but rather divert it to their kids upbringing, well being and home family set up.

I asked myself, what husband in his right mind, would want to beat up his beautiful inside and outside, medical doctor wife, such as she is.

There is nothing mysterious about marriage. Marriage is a training ground, where you hone your connecting skills. Marriage, prepares you for the ultimate and eternal relationship. Marriage has expiration. Love outlasts and outlives marriage. In fact love is eternal, but marriage is not. Love is forever, but marriage is not. Love and relationship are forever. Three things lasts forever. They are: faith, hope, and love. All three are hinged on relationship

Who told you even the wife won't want her husband to be in jail, are you her spoke person? If she does not want action taken against her husband why then did she post that video in public space? I'm sure if the husband is not a reporter that somehow have connection with the governor, he would have been arrested and fired by now.

One thing I observe in that reconciliation and this hopeless write up is both justifying it as a norm. Both are apologist. There’s no moral justification or whatsoever to raise your hand against a lady.I just don’t know why she’s staying with the beast.

I just want to assume most of you here are kids, properly in 20's without much understanding of life ... if the marriage is reconcillable why not.
If you can understand why maids/relative kids alway recieving beating from wives you will comprehend why some men beat ladies.
Its all about who is feeling superior, could be any gender buh most times physicality favours men. If there is a committe to look into domestic violence between husband & wives compared to wives & maid, the result will be shocking.

If the writer expended this same effort on a research paper on something relating to science, economics or politics, he would have contributed to knowledge. But no! They can only write when it comes to marriage.
