Good day House, Anyone who has an idea about Humber College. I saw one is meant to pay tuition deposit after acceptance of admission. I mailed them asking what about refunds on tuition, they dodged the question.
Does anyone have an idea about it here? Kindly assist

I can't see the complete review on the GCMS notes as some basic information were not clear enough. Please can you turn the screen of your phone and take a screenshot of the notes in a horizontal position.

If you applied or you are planning on applying for study permit in QUEBEC province, be ready to receive your NSE request mail for TEF!!! and not IELTS.

I just got mine, and I am sitting this one out☺️

I can't come and kill myself.

Those that applied before this NSE stuff, I consider you lucky to have escaped.

When the time elapses, they should kindly resume my application process biko.

Haba. This one na wickedness ooooo

TEF keh

Am sure a lot of candidates going to Quebec wouldn’t follow this route . The time to learn French is more a year let alone doing an exam on it

It’s well o

Hello everyone! As a second time applicant, do you attach your SOP and Letter of Explanation (addressing VO’s concerns) i.e you upload 2 different letters or use just one letter to state purpose and address concerns.

Me too. I called yesterday to confirm. I don't have this mail yet though. Hopefully, I get it tomorrow.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Kimkalash: 2:32pm On Dec 10, 2020
So I actually received the payment request yesterday, sent the proof and the form to feedback and info and had someone confirm the reception of the mail.

Called this morning and someone said my application would be attended to this week but the dispatch riders won't take it up until next week.

Called again this afternoon to know if it had been attended to and after the lady got my tracking id, she said my passport was received two days ago and should leave the application center by tomorrow.

She even gave me an air something something number to use to track it from tomorrow but ionno if it's a ups or dhl tracking number.

Pressure works.

Cool. Please, what number can they be reached at or how are you communicating with them. I have sent emails and called via the line ending with 9900 since Dec 1 when I made payment. My passport is still with VFS.

Used the one ending with 8800. The one you mentioned states Lagos but I think it's an Abuja number

Please all honorable and gurus, you all should reason this extract from my friend's gcms note;

Application reviewed with biometrics collection pending. Do not finalize until biometrics is complete or new letter is sent once VAC re-open 22 year old female single no previous travel indicated to assess as a positive factor. Personal savings are low and family savings and income have only be marginally supported. LOA indicates funding of $21,500 CAD per year for at least 2.5 years.

Mind you her tuition is 9k cad and she got funding of 21.5k cad which is enough for tuition and living expense, but she still got support from her dad of around 10k cad I think. Though no decision yet till today and she applied since May 2020. Please, any advice? What do you think will eventually be the outcome since she did biometrics since August.

@frankrobbn and other honorables, please comment and recommendation.

You are given a deadline to pay your fees depending on your start date. If you can't pay before the deadline, it's safe to request for a deferral. You are eligible for a full refund if you let Humber College know by the tenth day of classes, that you will not be attending school. You must also show proof of study permit refusal if that is your reason.

You have the grace of 60 days after a visa rejection to file for appeal or judicial review. I believe you must have exceeded this stipulated time. Accordingly, your best bet is to reapply and carefully address the concerns that were raised by the responsible immigration officer. You may want to share a copy of your GCMS note on this platform, so we can discuss about your prospects and better ways to overcome the immigration officer's concerns.

Hi all,

I have situation need advice from those who have used Turkish Airline to Montreal or any other Canadian airport recently. Wakanow has boxed me into a corner to use Turkish although after lots of trouble I think they will do date change because my passport is still with VFS. Payments for ticket and passport return done.

I initially paid for Covid-19 test because Wakanow said all airlines (except British Airways) require a test result. They have now cancelled it because I mentioned that I know other folks who traveled on other airlines and didn't have to do the test.

I have to use Turkish as things are but I want to know if there is anyone who has recently traveled from Lagos on Turkish and didn't have to do the test. Is it a requirement of this airline or will immigration make trouble if I don't have it even though Canada does not require it?

Thanks.
