Gazzuzz, radautoworks, Blackbishop una expertise is needed. My car steering was stiff yesterday. I parked and checked everything I could. Later noticed that the abs cable was touching the tyre. I just touched the cable and adjusted it. The car came back to life. Later at night, it became a bigger issue. Instrument cluster went haywire. Speedometer stopped working, brake light came on, steering stiff to turn, Rpm misbehaving, fuel gauge going upandan. I still drove it for about 4 hrs cos of traffic going home.
I scanned the car this morning and saw p0500 speed sensor. I checked the cable again and noticed that it don cut.
I managed to connect it back but the problem persists. Is it possible for the sensor to have damaged prolly for driving car for too long?
What step to take next? I don park am.

I dey wait jejely for una response. Others with experience like this can help too. Tnx.

1st symptom was the jerking; car jerks when u apply full pressure on the throttle. But it drives smooth when I pedal lightly.

2nd problem: car went off on its own without showing any sign. It was a rewire that brought it back on.

After some days, car went off in the night on fadeyi bridge after surging. When we roll the engine, it comes on and goes off immediately. Mechanic came the next day to scan, he said it was airflow meter (I shared the codes here). We checked the airflow meter, but it wasn’t faulty. He then checked the plugs and saw that they were all bad. He told me the injector mouth is what is killing the plug. He charged 10k to get 4 plugs (according to him, they are original plugs). The car came on finally after changing plugs, servicing nozzle, servicing injector mouth and changing pump and filter. I tot all my problems were gone but the jerking didn’t stop so I changed mechanic. Mechanic said the fuel pump I just changed (assumed tukunbo is bad) according to scanner. Naso I change fuel pump again. He checked the plugs and everything was blaccccck (we changed 4plugs again, this time for 6k) we changed o2 sensor (the one in front and under). After all this change, the car still jerk when pressure is applied, but it hasn’t gone off on its own. This is actually the first time I’m experiencing all this problems. I done tire. I feel I have been attending to the problem wrongly.

Currently, scanner is showing no error

I don’t really know much about cars but at least I know when my own isn’t doing fine because I have been using it.

OCV is a top contender. Look into it

What cut the cable and when you say you connected it back, how? Splicing? It's possible you grounded out a fuse in the process. Have someone close to you check if signal is getting to the speed sensor.

Strongly disagree with this... My bolt commission two weeks ago was above 22k, fast forward to present week, 17k+ that's because I didn't work on Monday and Tuesday... Not working today as. I almost hit the 22trips threshold for the 7k bonus if not for my car breakdown.

Their system is just bad generally born just the rating alone.

Where have you been tho, good to hear from you.

MY brother, as the 800k matter
Com dey dey one kind. I Just push my head enter some other engagements last week.

grin grin Heaven sees my heart and intention, the last thing I'll do in life is to take advantage of someone or situation, I only want Kamikaze42 to get his money, naturally I'm a joker (it is very difficult to get me to b serious, tho I can work and chew gum at d same time), does not mean I'm morally corrupt, it may surprise you, some folks here may not b able to match my moral standard, get close to anyone that knows me very well, they will tell you how principled, trustworthy and ethical I can b.

Just as Deedee44 affirm, she does not have any money presently to pay, I strongly believe that too, did she embark on d trip wit d mindset to cheat Mr Kamikaze42 lyk Oyinda? Nope! Did she make a transfer that failed? Yes! Was her bank account hacked? I honestly can't tell, but I won't judge a human outrightly and go as far as damaging her life all in the name of teaching her a lesson, in my moment of honesty, I mayb ashamed of my actions. She messed up big time, cos she could have done the right tin and not allow issue drag to this point, but we r all human, we live, we learn...

Back to my rabbit hole, got some personal problems I've been dealing with, the pain for justice brought me out. Peace I wish on everyone and those that misunderstood my perception, no hard feelings, the fact that we don't see things from same angle does not make one bad or wack

Boss i understand you though. grin

1. 5w-30 as engine oil, T-IV as gear oil.
2. More sales happen during weekends. This also depends on your hustling spirit.

The code is for Vehicle Speed Sensor and not wheel speed sensor. And from your explanation it is the Wheel Speed Sensor you reconnect.

Image below is your Vehicle Speed Sensor

And further more I can categorically tell you that your ABS module is fried prolly to you mech genius. But remote diagnosis wont help you but a physical one.

The 2009 corolla does not use a VSS mounted on the bell housing.

All speed info is collected from the wheels

Na today I know why some drivers dey assault riders. Picked this Olosho from Osapa London to Elegishi area this morning. Trip ended 1100, she now said she wants to transfer. I said ok during the transaction I got another trip, called the rider that I'm trying to collect a transfer he should bare with me, he agreed. After like 3 mins this girl was just fiddling with her fone complaining of network. I now told her to use my hotspot. She said it was not working, that 2 of her banks app have network issue. I now told her she should have told me it's transfer she wanted to do, the next thing that came out of her mouth is why am i talking like an illetrate that I'm the one supposed to ask before the trip of its cash or transfer. I just laughed and told her she doesn't know what she is talking about and she shouldn't insult me. She said I'm the one insulting myself that I should not say it outside. All these while I was trying to control myself because I stutter when I'm angry. I told her no Wahala let her borrow money from someone, she said nobody ok let's go to an ATM , she doesn't use ATM card. I now got angry that she should find away to pay, the stupid girl now said I should come tomorrow that I'm just wasting my time and I should go for my other trip. My head just dey raise fire small, I now called the new rider that he should cancel and explained to him. I now put off my app told her I'm ready to wait for that money, anyhow e go be my money go come out. She now called one of her friends and was explaining to her, she now repeated that illetrate statement, I don't know when i flared up opened my back door did like i was going to grab her phone and shake her a little. The girl still dey raise voice saying She will blow me. Some of her neighbours and alaye's were now trying to calm me down. One of her neighbours that has a store ended up paying for her. Anytime I get request and see say na Olosho my moral dey always drop. Ive been taking alot of side comments lately
