Only few heads made their deputies/Vice relevants, especially when the deputy appears to be more experience and love by the masses. That is while I prefer to be a secretary in few positions I have contested if I cannot be the Chairman, instead of being a vice. I will rather be a floor member than to be a deputy.

Makinde loyalty is first to the constitution that brought him to public office and to the good people of Oyo state.

If he has not violated the constitution as per the deputy governor entitlement he is covered.

Maybe there is something that both of them had.

It could be a deal or an accord that is not in line with the rule.

Then the Deputy Governor should just hold his peace.

Agreed he's the best governor, name 2 major things he's done apart from dashing people money.

Also, tell me which deputy governor doesn't wanna be a governor. Eyeing the seat of a governor isn't something evil. Abi, u no dey aspire to progress?

Lastly, I'm sure there must be something really going on that's very wrong between them. Olaniyan was more relevant in politics in Oyo State than Makinde b4 he accepted to be a deputy. There must have been a negotiation that took place then.

I don't know why almost all the governors act this way. Maybe some of them hate competition from their deputies. If the deputy governor position is not relevant then we should scrap it to avoid war. The deputy governor has constitutional right and the governors should treat them right.
