What do we consider as Expensive bride price? Different cultures and customs. I see men here complaining about huge bride price and inability to let go of adulterous wife. Does it mean he could not afford to another if divorce results according to the scriptures.

the word expensive depends on who is bidding or paying...
a local man may call 100k as too expensive to pay bt a rich man can laugh it off bcoz he payed 10m.
my worri is calling bride price expensive as if its a market situation that we buy and sell....what we selling and buying in marriage??

Depends on culture. Bride price is expensive if the man will run into debts or go broke all in the name of ceremony not even the marriage itself.
Taking a huge loan for rice and meat sake is stupidity.

Btw, all those food items and lists are also bride price o including the family, parents envelopes.
