I was going through my phone storage (Redmi Note 9s) and came across the information in the attached photo. I've searched to no avail for any videos that could've accumulated to that size and I hate the fact that videos I have no use for are taking up such a large chunk of my very limited storage. Does any Xiaomi guru in the house know how to fish out the culprits? Thanks in advance.

My MI 9T suddenly stopped fast charging. The fast charging icon still shows on the screen while charging slow. Could it be the phone, cord or the charger itself?
How's the device temperature when you plug it in to charge?

it's definitely going to cause damage to your device now or later, make efforts to change the charger.

Thanks for this recommendation. I'd done that and it led me to the internal storage folders where I opened them up one after the other and deleted all unnecessary files. I'd even gone through the Telegram folder and just like it was pointed out, there is a lot of junk in there which I've deleted. The huge video volume is still there staring at me like a very bad rash.

I'll probably try doing a hard reset and see what that storage size will look like. The only downside is the fact that having all apps reinstalled and working like before usually takes so much time and effort.

Thanks once again.

Unknown to many, there's usually a huge pile of nonsense in that folder like you rightly pointed out and I take time to go through it to delete ALL unnecessary files in there. Even videos and pictures from checking WhatsApp statuses get logged somewhere hidden which I also delete and that's why I almost never open any WhatsApp status.

Thanks for the recommendation.

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.
Please lets make this work and Shout out to @elijahdre for getting me this wonderful device.

Why not post your message without the quotes?

You will have to do a wipe on your phone.

Some days ago, I unboxed my Redmi K30 Ultra.
This phone is dope.

120hz Super Amoled screen
33watt charge
Dimensity 1000+ (MediaTek best ever SOC)
No notch
Stereo speakers
5G enabled etc

All for 180k from Macbeyland.

Excellent money well spent. I'm happy.

open any video player nd activate show hidden folder button and see what videos it reviews....this ur problem is actually synonymous with app folder not videos (because that 1 no fit really hide unlike ur apps folder that can become pregnant with space

It seems there is a high rate of stolen Xiaomi phones these days. Guys, don't forget to turn on "find my device." Or sign-in your Mi account. At least the thief won't be able to use it.

My friend is so so unlucky. His RN7 was stolen late last year and this December his RN9Pro has gone also.

Lmao. That's not comic sans. It has a name and the name is Rosemary and it is classified under the monotype font and it's not what Miui call it. It's what it is right from before MIUI -Rosemary.

PureMe01, take note.

Download and install ES File Explorer. Scan your phone with the space analyzer. Then click on 'All files' (image 1). You'll be able to view your folders and their spaces in order including hidden files.
