B. A lot of man hours are lost during the weekdays ( a lot of drivers wait endlessly for trips during the day which don't happen, forget Xmas .
5-9am, 5-10pm, these time belts aggregate the highest volume of trips in a day.

C. The guy who grossed over 200k on watsap group. Over 40% of that score was made over the weekend. Yet he still worked for 7 days in a week. Longer hours do not necessarily translate to more earnings.

Wow, just went back to check and 58% of last weeks earnings was earned between Friday-Sunday despite working all week. Infact, Saturday and Sunday accounts for 44% of my earnings for the week.

Bros the thread is to share your experience abeg... Share and let's laugh out loud abeg...lol

Took a man to spar, the arrangement was to take him there and bring him back to his house where I picked him.

On getting there, he asked me to follow him inside. I say no wahala. As we got in, na so this man carry basket give me make I help am carry. I con carry basket o they follow am like im boy. We'll walk around, he'll pick things and put in them in the basket I was carrying grin

I knew what I was doing was stupid but two things got me going. 1. The man will definitely compensate me when we get to his house and 2. I didnt want him to give me a bad rating if I refuse to carry the basket. cheesy

To cut the long story short, we got back to his house, fare was 2500 or so and this man gave me the exact amount. Na there my eyes clear.

This man still had the guts to tell me to come and pick him from his house the next day by 6:30am on an offline trip. I say no wahala. The following day, he called 6 times and I didnt bother to pick. smiley

Very anyhow human beings. I keep on saying it that women are a problem to men in this life. Very anyhow people.

If you check well, 98% of people that give problem to drivers in this job are females. Emotional things that only think backwards and sentimentally.

Most times, a female rider will request you and the useless iddiot is still making up.

Pocohantas you were asking why Bolt drivers are hostile most times. There you have it!

Apt and Succint example.

I am not asking, I have concluded there is a strong link between Bolt drivers and aggression. I have concluded that they can’t be dealing with that much oloshos and be normal anymore.

His posts confirmed it...

I have avoided them. Uber for life.

2020 has been a funny year, bought my first car (Corolla sport 2007) to use on Bolt, got married to my woman after 7 years together, had my first terrible accident days ago which i thank God did not claim any life, though both vehicles were heavily affected... But in all, 2020 has been a great year..

Hi guys, so yesterday I picked up a lady from Greenland estate Badore to Royal stopover hotel after Eleko. Trip was on a ×1.8 surge. Apparently the trip was booked by her friend.

Distance = 47.6KM, Duration: 111mins.

Trip ended at N9,100 (N800 discount) = N8,300

She started shouting that the price was too much, Bolt didn't give her that estimate bla bla bla. I explained to her that I wasn't the one that fixed the price and that she had to pay then complain to Bolt. She said she didn't have the money in her account, she had only 4K.

After waiting for so long and after it was obvious that she couldn't or wasn't going to pay more than that, I told her to send the 4K.

I put in "client paid less" and put in the amount she paid. Not long after I left there, a message on price review popped up. I couldn't find the message anymore because I clicked on it to view and it disappeared. I later checked the trip details and N4,800 was displayed (4000 she paid + 800 bonus).

Question is: Was there a glitch in the system or what exactly happened?

Abeg, make una help me reason the matter.

UPDATE
So guys regarding this trip in question, Bolt eventually paid me N2150 (half of the balance).

That's how I got to the PU of one girl, I parked opposite the compound cos I wasn't sure of the exact compound and I didn't want to block someone's gate.
The girl now came out that I should turn and park directly at her gate, I felt she wanted to carry something so I obliged, Na so she stand for gate say make i on A/C down that her friend is coming for my mind I just lock up. As we started the trip, the map was directing on the normal route out of the estate but there was some road work going on in the estate so you can't go out thru where you came in.
I now asked her to please direct me. She just shouted at me that I should follow the car in front of me and not ask her any question. Ah ah!! Na so I ask am is there any problem, why is she being aggressive? She murmured something but i didn't hear though , her friend just told me not to worry she'll direct me. To me o, no matter how e be. I can never walk into some ones store or someone rendering me service and be arrogant and rude to the person. If them try am for market place or all these Agbero drivers Na slap dem go collect
omorkelly:

Honestly, these girls can make a dumb man speak in tongue.
I picked one yesterday on a 1.9X trip.
We moved and after few minutes she said she forgot to tell me there's going to be a stop over; that she wants to pick a friend along the way.
I was intensely infuriated but i calmed myself down since she has promised no waiting at all. But the destination was modified on my instruction.
On getting there, she asked me first to check the current fare which i couldn't without ending the trip; 1st red flag!!!
After about 10mins i informed her on phone that am ending the trip in another 5mins. Immediately her friend came out and sat in the car, then i got the message clearly; she was changing her dress and making up for a party!!! CAN YOU FU-FU-FUCKING BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!!
Oh My God i lost control of my composure immediately and ended the trip there. I was shouting at her friend when she appeared and they are now making another request.
I made it clear i wont go further untill she pays the initial trip alas! she complied. I accepted to go for the 2nd trip 'cause the place na Sambiza and also with surge.
Worst still, they were still complaining that bolt fare was getting higher day by day and they wish another app could come to their rescue: me for my mind dey sure say bolt fare no be am at all.... i just fem. Collected my money, reported rider to bolt after 1 star rating.

Funny enough; same drivers you are avoiding on Bolt still drive you on Uber.
This phenomenon did not emanate from neither the driver nor rider but the app compan; Bolt.

Update on the get together!!

From popular demand, and suggestions garnered through all channels, I am here to inform y'all that the get together has been Postponed to Thursday, January 21st, 2021. The Venue still remained Jamrock Cuisine, lekki -Epe expressway after Elaganza bus stop when coming from the Mainland.

The shift of date was necessitated because of activities lined up for almost everyone of us taking cognizance of persons traveling this week and the wedding ceremony of one of us (Bishop). And again, the thirst for surge cannot be dampened whatsoever.

The organisers pleadingly seek everyone's advantage before this conclusion was reached and we together we can do to this.

The account is still open and the fee for food alone is 1,800. Please pay up so we can all do things together.

Hoping this meets you well.... We move!

Hello guys, the idea behind "Meeting and Greeting" is for us to "cap" or "finish" the year together with merriment and banters. If 20th December was no longer feasible, there are still 11 other days in December before the year ends. In my little understanding, the "meet and greet" is actually an "end-of-the-year" get-together for thread members and fans. Why would we be having a "meet and greet" in January, three weeks into the new year? And on a Thursday too? How about those of us that will be at work? How about drivers that would be on the road trying to meet their targets? Do we honestly think a driver under rental will be able to spare 2 hours for food and banter on a Thursday afternoon in January (winter month)? And are we thinking about the restaurant? I know Aunty RadAutoWorks is nice, but I'm sure she wouldn't be pleased with the potential disruption to her business when 30 or so Uber drivers and fans show between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon, merrying, bantering and drinking alcohol.

I would suggest we chose another date in December. Aunty RadAutoWorks has graciously granted us the use of her restaurant, so Sunday, 27th December is another good date. This is surge season for e-hailing drivers. Any driver will find it easy to unwind for an hour or two and then hit the roads back, confident that he will still exceed his target for the day.

My 2 kobo sha. I post in peace.

Please o, what is the effect of a low rating on Uber. Dem winches keep on misbehaving and expect one to worship them.

I had my windows down at around 11 30 am waiting for a rider after I have driven round and round due to map not pin pointing their location. I also called severally. They were 3 and of course females.

No greeting, no apology, standing outside she retorted, "Is your AC not working"?

I responded with a firm tome "of course it is". NA wetin earn me 1 star be that o. Comments started, Ehn, why are you being defensive, she asked a simple question. Do I not know that some Uber drivers do not have AC.

I was tempted to respond that she asked a rather foolish question. Although I for no vex, I was having a bad day already and was rushing home.

Things we see.
