ear is very delicate talking from.my personal experience don't self medicate.

they would either give d baby antibiotics or eardrop depending on the severity

We just did another jundice test and this is what was gotten. I'm confused because the hospital we went to said baby doesn't look like the figures gotten, they asked us to wait 1 more week and repeat the test.
We will be going to the hospital tomorrow but I would love to hear from mothers who have experienced this with their LO's

Please ma take that baby to the hospital tomorrow, the baby doesn't have to look like the figures gotten. If they tell you story at a private clinic take her to a govt hospital, if you are in LAGOS take her to the maternal and child care centers. I beg you please.

This is normal.
Please, note that babies on exclusive breastfeeding can poo up to 12 times in a day or not at all for 2 weeks. As far as the poo is normal (yellow/mustard colour and like egusi) there is no cause for worry

Hello Zino, my baby is 2weeks now. They said the Jaundice test was not bad, And that it will clear off.
But my baby's eyes are not white yet, and my wife is super worried.

How long did it take your baby's eyes to clear to white?

3. I had a very tiny tear during child delivery which was stitched, how do I care for it to fast track the healing process apart from sitting on disinfected hot water sitz bath

1. Your baby will suck the milk out. Just keep the breast in his mouth let him keep sucking. The milk will come out eventually...provided your nipple is protuded enough for him to grasp with his mouth. If not, pls massage your nipples and gently pull them out or allow Oga to help you with it.
2. I really don't know. I used Johnson's and noticed my baby was getting rashes so I stopped and started using a local soap and cream. Works well for her. So I advice you try and observe closely. Babies skin and reactions differ.

3. I also need answers to this oo..but so far,I guess the sit baths and disinfectant is your best bet.

Hi mama, just seeing your comment. I bought it at Sacred Heart Hospital, Lantoro. The vaccine can be taken from 6 weeks. The maximum time for Rota 1 is 3 months.
Whenever you are ready, go to they immunize children just at the entrance of the hospital. Meet one of the nurses. She would direct you. You would need to register(#500) your baby and get the hospital card.
