And if I may ask, who foot the bills?

Remember what happened to FFK after answering the same question. So be cautious!

Why are you asking who foots the bill as if it costs an arm and a leg to travel to these places? Inside Nigeria self! Na your type dey think every rich man na thief.

If you live in FCT you can visit Gwarinpa pottery, Mpape crushed rock, Usuma Dam and Gurara falls for less than 10k. Gate fees and snacks inclusive. Even Benin Republic is accessible for far less than that amount from Mile 2.

Poverty is a disease and poverty mentality is a curse. Oh God let me not be poor.

Hello Nairaland; I am Destine with my instagram handle as https://www.instagram.com/o.l.a.e.d.o_
I am in my 20s and I reside in Portharcourt, Nigeria though I studied in Enugu. I took it upon myself to travel to every single state in Nigeria; and though I am yet to achieve this dream, I am getting closer to achieving my dream. I have been to these states;

Lagos
Abuja
Niger
Bayelsa
Abia
Delta
Ebonyi
Edo
Nasarawa
Imo
Rivers (winks)
Kogi
Anambra.

I have been to Benin Republic too! I look forward to travel to the far north; plans are still underway grin grin

I detail my journeys on my various experiences travelling across the breadth and length of Nigeria and one thing I have discovered is that though we are from various tribes in Nigeria, we are all pretty much the same. I have learnt to respect the opinions, belief and culture of the people I meet. Trust me, you have no idea how fun this country can be!

Check out my pictures and enjoy the scenery of the country we call home!

For more travel stories and pictures check out my Instagram. Thanks

The bold and many more is why I am a huge fan of same social class marriage.

Imagine a lady who grew up in a home where they travel every year outside the country or go on road trips to a man like this poster.

Disaster waiting to happen.

Y'all see why un(der) employment is bad? This can only come from frustrated, poorly educated and un(der)employed person. What if she has rich parents? Well-to-do siblings? Besides, she mentioned travelling in groups - reduces the costs.

You must still be living in the dark ages ..You can't just get it that woman can do stuff alone without the help of a man . Pls wake up Mr chauvinist .

No be small dark ages, anyway, I blame poor economic growth and un(der) employment. But then, poor education and exposure should also be blamed. The comments by most males here are disappointing and depressing. Apparently, majority of Nigerian males are sex starved. No wonder feminists dey use them shine.

She has never hidden the fact that she’s a lesbian!

Look at her Instagram and see that most of her followers are lesbians.

Also in one of her pics she clearly revealed her partner.

Her choice though.

Fantastic! No hope for perverts. grin

MODIFIED: She did not post any picture revealing her partner. That is false accusation.

Guara Falls in Niger state..

It was a 1hr 45mins road trip to Gurara from Abuja with friends. It was pretty easy to find, just put it into Google map and follow the directions.

Getting there, we paid a gate fee of #1,000 and we got a tour guide.

The views, My God!!! Videos don’t even do it justice. You need to visit in person. But I tried to bring some views to you, Enjoy

was enjoying your post until I saw you wearing jeans short at a water fall

OP,

I must confess, your pictures are really beautiful and I love what you do. My problem is time as a young man needs to build a steady flow of finance. Getting to know Nigeria was one of the reasons I aimed to choose either Plateau or Taraba during my service year only to see Yobe and Nasarawa, unfortunately, I got Yobe. Nonetheless, you did well by going round. Don't mind those perverts and confused people, the country's economic situation is really hitting people hard, so bear with them. There are many pictures/threads of young ladies on Quora and Reddit discussing travels, yours is no exception. No one asks any "who bankrolls you", so the economy is to be blamed.

Lovely pictures, I hope to do same later in life (share on Nairaland) but with a strong passport. grin

Man of God. Can't she have her own money again? A woman can't enjoy herself except its due to a man? Meaning the only decent ladies are those ones suffering that can't post such, and you guys would still insult them for being broke!

Why are some guys agbayas sometimes sha.....it is well.....
Lolz, just a simple question, you want to femi fani kayodize it. Me and you knows traveling about 10 states in a roll and going all those places is not a joke financially, even such a time is a huge luxury for someone working. So I am just asking who is bankrolling her?

I agree with you. No picture or video does justice to a water fall. When I was in Cross River, I visited Kwa falls in Akampka. Akampka is 1 hour from Calabar and to Kwa falls is about 30-45mins. In all, the trip was about 1hr30 minutes or at most 2hrs from Calabar.

The sound of the water fall was frightening to me (Maybe because it was my first time to be that close to nature apart from going to the beach). It was a loud sound of many waters falling. We could hear the sound of the fall almost 1km away, and as we got closer the sound became louder and louder.

The base of the water fall was a beauty. No picture or video can ever do justice to the beauty of a waterfall. You have to behold it yourself. With your eyes and with your ears. You will know that God is great.

Sister please open a YouTube channel and put all these goodness there. Let the world see the beauty in Nigeria

I'm not a big fan of travelling. But I hope to be with a guy who loves to travel and explore the world. I'd love to do that with him.
