I brought this here because this is one of the most active room, ok let go straight to the main issue. I finished my nysc 2018 and i meet my secondary school friend who owns a company, there is vacancy currently going on in his company and am thinking of applying. note that am working somewhere as a sale representative but i plan resigning next year because of how stressful my current job is.
so now i don't know if is just pride or not because my friend is someone i know everything about from is family, his Bleep up to all his girlfriend back then in secondary school an we do have some get together sometime and if i start working for him those closeness will have to cut off because he's now my boss.

It depends on the type of business that he's running.....



There are business that your friend will never employ based on your relationship with him and he wouldn't want to belittle you.


But there are other business that he could readily make you the manager due to your closeness to him.



But in general, you make the accesment and see if you can fit in and search within your conscience that you will never destroy his business for him because of friendship.

Nothing is wrong.if u do ur job well and of gud conduct.he can even make u his eyes there.

Na pride go make some people broke for this life.

nor let pride kill u Oga for u to bring the matter cum here show say u get pride as long as u sabi ur job and ur salary go flow wetin be ur problem again?

I knw a guy, my friend, who work is junior to his brother in law, his younger sister's husband.

To call him Sir instead of big head dey hard you

The only way this arrangement will work is if you have very strong work ethics and you're ready to apply professionalism and obey all the rules at the workplace.

Don't be in the habit of going to the office late and expect your friend to overlook it.

Personally for me, whether friend or not I will not tolerate insorbodination - if you step out of line you're fired, straight up!
