Good evening everyone. I honestly don’t even know where to start. But the pandemic affected some plans and now schools says they can’t sort admission process till February or March due to COVID. This is supposed to be an extension to PhD. Visa expires in January. I know nobody has a post-pandemic experience. But is there any way to work around this without having to go back to Nigeria and end up starting start a fresh visa application? I will appreciate every comment and support. I’m just confused. Thank you.

P.S- I have started packing already as I don’t plan to overstay.

Wow this is hard o. But you’re doing the right thing.

But why is your school sorting out your visa? It’s meant to be done by UKVI. All your uni has to do is give you CAS right, Then you apply for visa? Right?

If I’m right, get the cas and apply for your visa then you won’t need to go home. It’s just a letter, Covid shouldn’t stop them from typing a letter. Also speak to your international office or SU; they may have similar cases.

. I don’t know sha. Sorry o.

I appreciate your response. I’ve checked the website but the only thing I’m seeing about extension is that CAS is a requirement. But the uni just made it known yesterday that they cannot process the admission as planned for next month due to a key person been down with the virus or something like that. This is something that had been progressing nicely until this week. And the only thing left was just a final approval.

Wait what? So only one person can type? Your school sef is not trying! grin

Meet your SU and ginger them to fight for you. This was my job in uni (report staff and fight for students grin)

I miss those days

LOL, this is the simplest thing to learn. He's not coming to set up a hairdressing salon, so he doesn't need to know anything.
Stand in front of a bathroom mirror, fit the desired clipper guard size (1 gives the closest cut) and run the clipper over your head. The trim is not always as neat as it could be the first time, but with repeated practice he'll get better.

This is winter, he'll prolly be wearing a beanie or a hoodie anyway, so any funny results can be kept to himself for a week or 2, not that anyone cares.
grin grin grin Except you want to remove every hair on your head leaving just your skin, that will be utterly disastrous!
DisGuy:

He wont need the native clothes until next summer

Clipper: He can ask his flatmate or coursemates. He can also just go to barbers once or twice a month £7-10
Okay, thanks.

Your clipper might not work properly well due to the electric current and £10 to barb is nothing if you are working

School said they can’t proceed with the admission as the supervisor is down with the virus at the moment. So they are putting everything on hold until he recovers. It’s PhD. So, they are not even saying anything about issuing CAS. But I will try this again today.

Yes in terms of state funded school... this is very allowed. However for the 3 year old, you can only attend 15 hours free education and not the 30 hours free. The 30 hours is classiged as public fund so make sure only claim the 15 hours and then once the child is in reception class age then you are good to go .

Egusi grounded or not is very ok.... as for fried meat I am not sure , although a friend brought me loads of suya this week and frozen suya was absolutely fine
