Thank you will take note of this

Yes in terms of state funded school... this is very allowed. However for the 3 year old, you can only attend 15 hours free education and not the 30 hours free. The 30 hours is classiged as public fund so make sure only claim the 15 hours and then once the child is in reception class age then you are good to go .

Egusi grounded or not is very ok.... as for fried meat I am not sure , although a friend brought me loads of suya this week and frozen suya was absolutely fine

I appreciate your response. I’ve checked the website but the only thing I’m seeing about extension is that CAS is a requirement. But the uni just made it known yesterday that they cannot process the admission as planned for next month due to a key person been down with the virus or something like that. This is something that had been progressing nicely until this week. And the only thing left was just a final approval.

So you are on your last leg of the length of study plus 4months so jan is the 4th month ?
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Bourne007(m): 11:19am On Dec 18, 2020
How you mean "extension to PhD"? I thought PhD visas get atleast 3 years.

If you really want to stay, hope you are aware you 'as a dependant' can switch in-country to Tier 4 while partner is dependant

assumpta1:
School said they can’t proceed with the admission as the supervisor is down with the virus at the moment. So they are putting everything on hold until he recovers. It’s PhD. So, they are not even saying anything about issuing CAS. But I will try this again today.

Yes. And this is recent update from the school.

Free kids dental all (if your pickins get scatter scatter dentition)..... Free braces....... optometrist (free test + glasses) etc etc

Free GP consultation, free CT scans, free MRI, free investigations, free hospital admissions ...... Free free free.....

Oya, start to apologise.... Or we too go enta the same trousa........ cheesy

It's not free though. It's already been paid for via the IHS charge as well as via national insurance contributions in what effectively amounts to double taxation. None of these things you highlighted are free, we all pay for them one way or the other.

Now I understand.. but Are they thinking that your super would die? That’s now when the schools behaviour would make sense, as they can’t give you admission if- God forbid- he doesn’t make it.

Sorry o, SU can’t help with this one because you haven’t even gotten the admission, so the CAS letter is out of the question. Hopefully he/she would get better.

As far as you apply/submit the necessary docs one day before you’re meant to leave, you won’t have to go back. You still have time. Fingers crossed.

Hello house , please can children (ages 5 & 3) of a parent with a student visa attend state funded schools in the UK or they will be required to pay fees , I tried checking for information online but it was not so clear to me.

Also has anyone travelled to the uk recently and carried fried meat , Eguisi(not grinded) is it allowed?

Thank youuuuuu

School is free I think. But baby sitting isn’t, meaning it may only be the 5 year old with the free education (I’m guessing o).

I don’t think meat products are allowed. But I carry. Which means if they catch you, you will forfeit it for them for Christmas.

Any reason why the Egusi is not grinded? You love stress or there’s a special delicacy made ungrinded egusi?

You need to teach them their job or they profer a workable solution.........

Hahaha

But jokes apart I understand them. PhD is very lecturer dependent, unless there are other available lecturers in that field; so it makes sense to wait for him.

She is already on tier 4 but I think I understand what you’re advising her; that she can now depend on her partner, who was once dependent on her. Nice plan but I don’t know how easy that would be or how feasible, so I’ll mute.

As for the “extension”, these are given when you do master’s and are an excellent student, or when you apply for a PhD but they force you to do a master’s first or if you’re doing a master’s and your dissertation is helping the professor with their research— so you get extended to phd, rather than starting afresh with admission, references and statement of purpose letters.

The above is why her admission is dependent on the professor’s health.
