I only quoted boss blackman007, but I can explain.

The trading psychology is your exact belief about your entry, in-trade, and exit. In life, deviation exists, normal deviation, mean deviation, standard deviation; or whatever deviation you may call it, same in trading. Furthermore, there are cases where you will just do what you would normally not do under normal conditions: like not being patient for a complete pattern b4 entry, or you are in a loosing trade and your emotions can no longer endure the -ve running; now, even though it is not yet time for your exit strategy, you rush and exit, then trade starts to go your way.

Many times, you then knock your head and feel sad for the trade now going your way, then you rush in again and price reverses against you. A lot of these happen when your trading psychology fails. Failed psychology is when you want to re-enter the market with a revenge: you double or triple your standard lot size, a few pips against you blows your account.

Failed psychology is when you experience a deviation in your normal trading self: styles/strategies. It is normal, it happens, we are human not robots; when I experience this, I just close my trades & laptop for a whole day and return the next day or two.

Now, when you experience a failed psychology in an already running trade, your pre-planned risk/money management is what keeps you calm, it allows you leave your trade running while you go to bed peacefully, it allows you to go hiking with friends while your trade runs. Depending on traders, risk/money management can be in form of SL or lot size or even number of trades entered.

So, when psychology fails, your pre-planned risk/money management is what keeps you calm.

Have read this over and over again.

And i can boldly say my level of mindfulness in trading is on the increase.

Looks like the bull market wants to resume. Gold broke out from its 5 years consolidation in 2019 and experienced analysts speculate it could run for the next 10 years or so like it did before 2011 which the fundamentals support, but ofcourse it wont just run straight in a line there would be corrections and consolidations. Gold closed the week with a bearish inside bar after making a higher high, i expect a pullback next before continue higher. 30th November seems more likely to be the ICL(intermmediate cycle low). Seasons greetings everyone.

Buy on the left. Sell on the right.

You buy low and sell high.

It's much more preferable to look at the chart before making an order.

Thank you

Very apt analysis...Gold is still bearish @ the moment and only a break of the channel to the upside will confirm the bull run. I will wait for monday close to see what that inside bar does..

GU analysis..
GU saw a break of a 4months old resistance last week. The resistance was retested before the close of the trading week and we expect a continuation to the top.

GA analysis.
A rejection of the resistance line sees to send the pair back to the support line entering the new trading week..

London is under lockdown again. Will that create gap on GBP pairs?

from my analysis the breakout is imminent in my opinion if price can respect that higher low. But like you wrote lets see what monday gives us.
