Gasive: Wrong assertion, it gets to a stage in one's trading career that if you are consistent enough, withdrawals will not mean anything to you anymore except in few instances where the withdrawal is a large amount of money, you only enjoy the high and the euphoria for some mins, close your laptop and go to bed... Think of it this way if you rolls out drums, dancing, and celebrating your profits, what would you do if you incur losses?? Would you shed tears and start weeping like a baby?? I guess not... It all boils down to psychology, I strongly believe that withdrawals isn't something new to boss @pipsbasketings, Its no more a miracle to him like it would for a newbie... Its just a normal thing to him.... my opinion anyways and I hope you understands.... |

Theyoungmaster: 80 pips and running. I've locked in 42 pips. Might probably close out the trade by New York close and re-enter on Monday if the set up is still valid. Thanks to all the bosses here who keep dropping these knowledge for us newbies to learn from. Personally, I've learnt a lot from this thread and I'm still at Page 330. Little wonder how loaded I'll be when study all the charts dropped till page 1. Choi! I just can't hold my excitement. God bless all of you my bosses! 5 Likes

Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Nobody: 8:29pm On Dec 18, 2020 |
I only quoted boss blackman007, but I can explain. The trading psychology is your exact belief about your entry, in-trade, and exit. In life, deviation exists, normal deviation, mean deviation, standard deviation; or whatever deviation you may call it, same in trading. Furthermore, there are cases where you will just do what you would normally not do under normal conditions: like not being patient for a complete pattern b4 entry, or you are in a loosing trade and your emotions can no longer endure the -ve running; now, even though it is not yet time for your exit strategy, you rush and exit, then trade starts to go your way. Many times, you then knock your head and feel sad for the trade now going your way, then you rush in again and price reverses against you. A lot of these happen when your trading psychology fails. Failed psychology is when you want to re-enter the market with a revenge: you double or triple your standard lot size, a few pips against you blows your account. Failed psychology is when you experience a deviation in your normal trading self: styles/strategies. It is normal, it happens, we are human not robots; when I experience this, I just close my trades & laptop for a whole day and return the next day or two. Now, when you experience a failed psychology in an already running trade, your pre-planned risk/money management is what keeps you calm, it allows you leave your trade running while you go to bed peacefully, it allows you to go hiking with friends while your trade runs. Depending on traders, risk/money management can be in form of SL or lot size or even number of trades entered. So, when psychology fails, your pre-planned risk/money management is what keeps you calm. ProsperoTrading: 3 Likes |
