It's not a poverty thing, internet fraud is bad, but drug pushing is violent and ruins far more lives....I visited joburg last year and I can tell you that associating with igbos over there is a flight risk as you'll probably find yourself in trouble, these was what partly contributed to the xenophobic attacks on nigeria's over there.... When you look at the stats in all honesty most Igbo people are involved in one criminal activity or the other whether it's drug pushing, human smuggling or piracy....igbos dominate in terms of crime.
