I worked at my current place of employment twice , once for nysc and again a year later as a full member of staff. Will one reference letter be enough?

e.g Jan, 2014 - Oct, 2015
Duties 1
duties 2
duties 3

Jan, 2017 - Oct, 2020

I think it will be preferable if it comes from your sister. There should be a way you can make it come from your sister. If you know you know.
oty1993:
In this case, what if the gift deed is from my sisters husband, will there be an issue?

Farajobi:

The client should list the services provided , how long they have been your client for (it's important to use at least one of your oldest clients)and contain information on payment for these services (it would be nice to attach either payment receipt , invoices, or highlight bank deposits from the client ) . The client should also indicate their contact details in the letter so that the immigration officer can contact them and verify the authenticity of the document.
Thank you so much.

cheesy cheesy You may not see my PPR story - was using another moniker then. Ok I can explain what happened again.

I submitted Application in Feb 2019 as Inland applicant ( in Canada already as student ). Had both CAD and naira based POF ( family of 4). My CAD POF statement had a lump sum given to me by my distance uncle in Canada. We are related but not directly. Did gift deed for that and submitted my application with mix of naira and cad.

In August 2019- I got a rejection letter that I did not meet the eligibility criteria because the VO removed the amount gifted to me n CAD and my POF was below requirement. He said an "uncle" is not allowed to gift me money except my direct family like parent and sibling.

I was devastated because I was looking forward to PPR that time to bring in my family. I came back here for help and thanks to my people. I called CIC and challenged the decision, wrote appeal letter, submitted another statement over above the required POF again and started fasting and praying.

After 1 month the application was reopened and VO gave me 7 days to resubmit bank statement for PR. My VO was later changed ( got Infor in GCMS note) and in Oct 2019 I got PPR , it was when I ordered my GCMS note that the VO said that my initial refusal was a mistake and the file was given to another VO and I got my PPR.

My advice is gift deed should come from direct sibling or parent if possible because of some overzealous VO.
I hope this helps.

All the best.

Thank you so much for sharing. Thank God your application was reopened! Wow! ... I asked because I will be using a gift deed either from my Mum or BIL(brother in law).

Try not to get frustrated because other people need clarity. If you knew you couldn’t pass across an answer without this tone, perhaps you shouldn’t have bothered.

Hello all. Please has anyone paid processing fee ($825) and right of permanent residence fee ($500) recently? I tried using both my GTBank and Sterling Bank mastercards and the transaction was declined. What are my options?

Hello everyone!
I’m a tad worried about my proof of funds with the way CAD has been fluctuating. I’ll be submitting my application sometime this week and 4 million naira is all I can spare right now for POF. I’ve been worried sick that with the whole fluctuation going on, it might not be enough. Someone advised I either add an extra 500k to cushion whatever effects the changes might bring(I can’t afford the extra till maybe next year) or decline ITA to buy extra time to add more cash. What do you all kindly suggest?

Secondly my bank reference has no average six months balance like in the CIC format. It was a huge hassle of going to the bank every day for two weeks to get this one. Will a six month bank statement suffice instead? There was hardly any activity in the account these six months though

Do not use flutterwave Barter o... be warned. There are restrictions on what you can use your Barter dollar card for.. it's not gonna work on CIC.
Also you WILL lose money. The dollar buy rate is lower than sell , so if you try and it fails, your money will never remain the same again (lol). My own is still paining me

if he transfers it to her then she gives me with a gift deed, won't they check her account and see she doesn't usually have that much cash inflow in her personal account. Please advise

I am not sure IRCC will have any business with her account. All that would be required from her is the gift deed and transfer slip. Well, I don't know if anything happens at the back end.

It depends on the number of your family members, 4M is okay for a family of 1, as the equivalent is 13,353.6 CAD on oanda as of today and 13,635.2 on Govt of Canada site.
I see no reason why you should reject your ITA if you are a single applicant, a lot of people have actually recieved their PPR using the usual bank generic reference letter with an attached 6 months bank statement. I think you should think it through before pressing the decline tab, all the best.

I submitted 3.8M in November and right now my POF is more or less incomplete. Most people say it is locked during AOR , others say it’s when they are reviewing your application.
Don’t let exchange rate deter you, submit and you will be fine.

Your generic bank letter and 6 months statement of account is fine .

Don’t giveaway something people pray and wait years for unless your CRS is a lot to go with, then sure.

Please don't decline it, 4M is fine for a family of one, I submitted the same amount and my eligibility was passed.

Hah! Do not decline o! 4 million should be more than enough. The P0F for single applicant is actually 3.8m with change. If it makes you feel better add 100k extra. No one knows what future draws will look like. I repeat, do not decline!

Please as much as possible if you can get dollar on the cheap buy n open a dorm Account and keep in $ so as not to get affected by the fluctuations. Instead of losing the ITA over 500k, why not try n get it. As a loan ? ( Difficult in these times) but no one knows what numbers will be on the crs scores, except the numbers are high enough.

I had the same issue. I was advised that the school could send a mail acknowledging the error and sending the correct thing but in my case the person that did the processing the first time did it through the back door without my knowledge. I had to reapply. Once it was completed, the school sent the corrected transcript, and I followed up with a mail to WES. WES will make the correction once they've confirmed receipt.

The only issue is school getting the transcript ready. WES wouldn't take more than a week to correct.

I hope this helps. This is from my experience though.

Please did it go through the same stage all over again ? I mean was their verification of the result again like the first time ? I will really appreciate a response. Thank you so much.

What sort of terrible advice is this?? I used barter/flutterwave for my payment. I also helped 2 persons in paying their fee just over the weekend...They have a card that carters for such payment... Can we be super sure of info b4 dishing them out? No money will be lost... Infact i get AoR/CoAT even b4 the funds are deducted from my barter card... Let's be guided.
