AndSunGorilla:oga the way una dey use past form and glory hype players baffles be atimes When last did you watch Nwobodo play and what makes you think he deserves a place in the current super eagles set up? The last time I heard he left hungary for a turkish top abi 2nd tier team where is is not even seeing regular playing time If nwobo is good as hype why didn't any team from atleast the eirdevisie, Ligue 1, Russia or even the Swiss top tier snap him up frm hungary? Na so una don hype Nwakali and no gree person hear word when he joined Huesca but currently bobo no dey even mk em team match day squad. This hype and mentioning of players that won't even make any difference from what we have on ground already should stop abeg cus it's becoming very childish and sentimental |

ONE OF THE KIDS WORTH MENTIONING By providing two assists for PSV Eindhoven in their 4-1 rout of VVV Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie on Tuesday night, former Tottenham Hotspur youth-teamer Nonso Madueke has joined 2015 World Cup winner Funsho Bamgboye as Nigeria's top assist provider in Europe (all competitions) in the 2020-2021 season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. Fehérvár winger Bamgboye has seven assists to his name, same as Madueke who set up the last two goals scored by Cody Gakpo and Adrian Fein in the win vs VVV Venlo. Madueke has served up five assists in the Dutch top-flight compared to Bamgboye's six in the NB. I, while the PSV starlet finished the group stage of the Europa League with two assists and the ex-Golden Eaglet got his other assist in the Hungarian Magyar Kupa. This season, the 18-year-old has been involved in 13 goals (6 goals, 7 assists) from 20 appearances of which seven were starts. Madueke had a hand in an impressive 20 goals (11 goals, 9 assists) for PSV's youth teams in 2019-2020 before he was permanently promoted to the first team. Olympics bronze medalist Sadiq Umar ended the 2019-2020 campaign as Nigeria's top assist provider in all competitions with seventeen for Partizan Belgrade. |

charlesemeka85:Olise is a steady name for France u18 EZe prefers playing u21 football at 22 than playing for the super eagles(atm) Hence, except an injury or a massive drop of form.. These guys have their eyes set somewhere else I don't need to be their Papa or agent to know that |

charlesemeka85:I believe the Turkish super Lig is better than the Swiss league and you being harsh to Nwobodo imo... He is a talented Midfielder and his output is not abysmally poor |

charlesemeka85:The Turkish league is at the same level as the Belgian league. It is a top 12 league. He is playing in the first division there and he is playing regularly We are saying he should be given a chance and let us see what he can do. Incidentally, the turkish league is better than the Swiss league |

Watching the Nice vs Lorient game, unbelievable pressing from each team. Very fast paced game. I have not seen two teams press like this in a game in a long time. Both Terem Moffi and Rony Lopes, the striker of Nice, are struggling to get into the game. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheLoneCitizen(m): 8:07pm On Dec 23, 2020 |
TheLoneCitizen:Found the reason for this: Only the Premier League applies more pressures and tackles than Ligue 1. This explains Osimhen's knack for pressing and committing tackles, France train their players to apply press aggressively. In fact, Moffi currently makes more tackle and attempts the same amount of pressure as Osimhen per game. |

elunico:Gbam. That is exactly what it was. A gamble that paid off. It wasn't as if Rohr invited him because he was exceptional somewhere. He just saw a kid coupled with influence and media hype and he took a chance, which eventually paid off.At other times it could have gone south . So let all those "I told you so" people calm down abeg |
