Sunday Dankaro,John Obapolor,Tony Ikhazobor,Emeka Omeruoa,Abdulmumini Aminu,Amos Adamu.

Pls go and check Super eagles between 1988-1994 and tell me what Amaju has done that surpasses that era.

Sunday Dankaro 1976-1982 should have been the golden era if not for own goal scored by Godwin Odiye that denied the team 1978 WC slot.

My man these NFF presidents I mentioned did a lot for Nigeria football development.Plesae check out Nigeria league in the 80s,90s even early 2000,tell me what we have now.

Pls stop using super eagles endorsement to rate Amaju, pls go and check NFF archives and see how Segun Odegbami did so well as NFF member by bring ing corporate organizations to assist eagles.

Nigeria first high profile match which was against England was packaged by Odegbami with the assistance of John Fashanu who convinced English FA with the aid of cadbury and some corporate bodies.

Pls check out eagles jerseys at US 94 and Tunisia 94 this marked the beginning of Nigeria brand and remember we are once rated best number five national team in the world.

Pls can you believe that Rohr contract have $2m compensation clause in it .

These guys you mentioned are you trying to attribute the success of SE in the pitch to them because as at then the government was heavily involved in the running of the NFF, something Amaju Pinnick has been trying so hard to change

At the bolded do you have evidence of that?

YES....Gbenga Adewoye quoted Daniel Amokachie on goal.com saying $2m compensation clause in Rohr contract was fraud.

I am just not scared to say things like they are. What else can explain this blatant disregard for facts? There is no difference between a Pinnick supporter and a Buhari supporter. Both are supporting out of sentiments.
All sentiments are hinged on tribe right?

Before Arsenal gets relegated, they had better let Aliko buy up the team and maybe even employ our own Amuneke as the coach when Arteta gets fired. Waiting for the day an African would become coach in a top tier league in Europe.

Joel Obi has started playing well for Chievo Verona in Serie B
Should he be invited again?
I am not sure. The last time Rohr gave him game time, he did not play well.
I think he may be back in form since he is playing regularly
And so Rohr should give him a chance and see what he can do
If he plays well or not is left to him
BUT if he plays with that form he played with under siasia where he was a good
play maker/central midfielder, it will be good.
Football is uncertain anyway.
It will be good to try him since we are short of options in attacking midfield

Musa to West Brom could soon be a reality. Musa has also been keeping fit at his facility in Kaduna.

Did the NFF complain of Nike shortchanging in their end of the contract? No

U do know low balling has to do with a money offer right? Now tell me how much the Nike gave the NFF?

Yea, he had literally nothing to do throughout the match. But, don't forget, not long ago, the gk for the team was shipping in goals left, right and center. He seems to have inspired confidence in the team's defense.

National Stadium Lagos In Line To Host Super Eagles Matches In 2021, Sports Minister Assures

Source: ANS

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has assured that the National Stadium pitch in Surulere, Lagos could be ready to host Super Eagles and other international matches by May 2021.

The Minister made this assertion during an inspection tour of the Surulere National Stadium, Lagos which is under going rehabilitation.

According to him, "it's high time we had a familiar ground for our national teams. The Moshood Abiola National stadium Abuja and the Surulere

National stadium, Lagos will be ready to host matches next year and it will be a major plus to our teams when they have a familiar ground.

"This arrangement is under the adopt initiative which is a public-private model that we developed. We were able to pitch that to the private sector. we discussed with a philanthropist and lover of sports Sir Adebutu Keshington, who was convinced about the proposal. He is somebody that has the youth of this country at heart and has done so much to support youth and sports development.

"As a form of CSR he is committed to providing fund at 100 percent and we have no doubt that it will be completed in May.

"The Stadium has a rich history with the likes of Christian Chukwu, Segun Odegbami and host of ex internationals who played in the memorable edifice that hosted so many international competitions. The Engineer working on the site has assured that the stadium will be ready for use by May next year."

Dare also assured that a maintenance template is in place to ensure that the facility does not go back to its poor state.

"The Ministry has a department of facility which is building a template for maintenance of the stadium. We have facility manager from the private sector that will work with our department of facility. Maintaining this facility is critical and we are going to take it very serious."

You are correct. I still feel such decision is lopsided. If a player in German 3rd tier was invited then someone like Nwobodo too should be given similar opportunities who knows if his own club career could take off from there too.
