Pondabrown: It's not a question of whether they will agree, the north already has it's development commission and it didn't as for permission from anyone. It's a question of agreement between leaders of these regions. |

Redcrafton:You dey mind those mentally unstable idiots? these are the same reprobates that will always stop at nothing to constantly remind Igbos how they unapologetically contributed to 3 million kids/civilians starving to death during the war; just to keep Nigeria one. They are the same bastards that are first in line to carry every matter relating to Biafra on their heads even more than the Northerners... just observe all over social media and see how this degenerates shamelessly insult Igbos and meddle in our affairs on every topic relating to Biafra, Yorubas are the only ethnic nationality that seem to be obsessed with Igbos on issues concerning Biafra... Now that Igbos have said, "fine let's fucck it all up then and enjoy this beautiful One Nigeria together", they've now changed gear to "you're leeches, go back to your region" blah blah blah, they call the East unproductive but this mo.rons (thanks to their lack of adventure and exposure) aren't even aware of the massive developments, human capital and industrial expansions going on in the East right now at an exponentially high rate (thanks to the think home mentality lots of Igbos both home and in thr diaspora are beginning to adopt)... because we dey your Lagos or your dirty village in Ogbomoso no mean say we no get our mansion and businesses functionally running in the East, we are simply taken advantage of every opportunity in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, and sending acquired wealths back home in the East. Your average Igbo man dey Burkina Faso, Iceland, Equatorial Guinea etc literally in every far-flung enclave and most unlikely of places you can think about- hustling and shipping loads of money to his community back in the East. So yeah, in the meantime we must all enjoy this One Nigeria together by fire by force. Let them dare touch any Igbo owned enterprise or investment anywhere in the South west region, then we will remind them that madness has no square root, we are learning from the Hausas who don't hesitate to bloody their noses whenever they are attacked in Lagos or any part of the S. West. 4 Likes |

Pondabrown: You'll be shocked that it is the Legislators from the SE and SS that are against the bill recognizing and giving Lagos it's special status and also the South West development bill just to spite us. We will only wait for them when they will also bring a bill favoring their region to the house. Do me I do you, man go vex. |

privaldo:Yes and that's why NDDC was created. Now everyone wants their own DC as if it's food they're sharing. |
Re: South-West Governors Push For Regional Development Commission by privaldo: 5:43pm On Dec 24, 2020 |
Winterfell2: Yes, everyone deserves theirs. Other states that aren't part of the Niger Delta should leave and clamour for their own development commission. |

Sammy07: If you take a look at what is going on Lybia, Somalia, and northern Mali, it is easy to see Nigeria tilting towards that direction. An overtly weak central government with a lot of powers in its hand spells doom for constituents units. If care is not taken the security challenges will only worsen which will bring an all man for himself kind of situation. We need to take control of our destiny before the chicken comes home to roost. Nigeria has no future. 2 Likes 1 Share |

NwaAro: You lots are the ungrateful leeches with a heart full of hatred, bigotry and a brain with low capacity who would stoop so low as to bite the fingers that feed you. Bible says any man who repays good with evil; evil will never depart from his house. Even after the Igbos left Lagos during the civil war, Yorubas held your properties in trust for you and gave it back to you after the civil war. Yorubas opened their land and region to you (from Lagos-Ekiti) and yet, you'll still tarnish our names, call us different unprintable names and will even go to any length to destroy our economic and political lives. Igbos will be the first people to go online and drag Tinubu and other prominent Yoruba leaders without saying a word against their leaders looting their common wealth. You said Igbo land is developing very fast - good. So you think Yoruba land is sleeping abi? You guys should try and match up with the internally generated revenue from the SW before spewing trash. Lest I forget, you said we should all enjoy one Nigeria by fire by force? I laugh in Mandarin ! Yorubas are not in a hurry. The last time I checked, we all know who is the third class citizen. Enjoy your one Nigeria. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

jneutron4000: While the idea of a yoruba airway is commendable, I feel it should be left in the hands of the private sector. Airbus is delivering aircraft to a yoruba own transport company next year. (I can't remember the name of the company) The southwest government should focus on connecting the region with railway. I believe DAWN has a comprehensive plan on it. If there is one thing the Chinese understand, it is that connecting people breeds economic prosperity. 2 Likes |

Frenchkiss564: I'm happy Lagos, Ogun and Oyo has been connected already, hoping we could do more through SWDC by connecting the other states. We shouldn't forget to also develop technologically and in science. I know our guys are doing very well with tech start ups but we need a framework and a development plan that will solidify our grip on that sector. Tech is the new gold mine. 3 Likes |

Sammy07: You just buttressed the point I just made...the federal government should use the resources you just highlighted to fund the canvassed commission We just want to use the resources in the region to develop our place and people For your information though Niger delta states includes ; Akwa ibom Bayelsa Delta Edo Cross Rivers & Rivers All six states are oil producing Ondo is enjoying the benefits of the NDDC because they are oil producing too. I guess these my mild tune soothes your nerves a little awon Amotekun |

Taye4j: You are very correct bro. There is an abandoned road directly linking osun to ogun. The federal government is not even looking at it. The oodua investment company scholarship should look towards science and technology. That is the future. Overall, the south west needs to be in control of her economy. 3 Likes |

Taye4j: I have refrained from doing those type of pictures to avoid being banned. What I have shown are real pictures of were the citizens live and not markets. If I show you pictures of areas in Molette Ibadan and Makoko Lagos, you will weep. So let's leave it at that. Igbos have not done anything wrong for you to be envious of them. They have never fought you in your land like you have been fought in Fagba, Ile Ife, Shagamu, Agility Ketu, Ajegunle, Araba Rago Okoko and other places yet you chose to always call them out. 2 Likes |

Every region and state has got his good and bad, but coming online to post a few blocks just to chest beat and downgrade others is the height of foolishness I've ever seen. Maybe you should stop using Panadol for some one else's leg pain, check the guy I responded to before claiming Igbos have done nothing for them to be dragged . You said we are envious of you, I can now see your level of foolishness. Pls tell me, what has an Igbo man achieved that a Yoruba man has not achieved ten times? All these stupid gimmicks and playing-to-the-gallery by useless politicians! Was it any useless ‘development commission’ that got Singapore and UAE (countries Nigeria was better than in the 60s) to become the shining lights of development they are today? Fools! Keep on doing things the ‘Nigerian way’ and still expect development! |

We were here right on nairaland when you people opened threads upon threads about amotrkun when the idea was first muted the the SW governors, pray, tell me what concerns you people? Coming from people who shout Tinubu all the days of their useless life, Tinubu who has never governed any of your states before yet y'llrrant his name like he owes you plebs anything. You people are actually the one who meddle into other people affairs the most, I remember when emir Sanusi was dethroned, your people made d loudest noise as if they have any remotest idea of what royalty is all about. As per your other ramblings, y'll should learn to stay in those your mansions, ogbomoso people hate you people with passion, that's why Benjamin adekunle an ogbomoso son killed your silly asses and raped your freaking mothers to death. We have done worse to you in Lagos, what were u fools able to do? We attacked u during the election and stopped youffrom voting, what did u do? Re: South-West Governors Push For Regional Development Commission by privaldo: 7:13pm On Dec 24, 2020 |
Sammy07: Yes, every state in the Niger Delta produces oil. From Rivers to Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom to Edo. Cross-Rivers recently lost theirs to the Bakassi issue and the remaining to Akwa Ibom, so yes all Niger Delta states have oil. FG also generates revenue from oil wells in Imo and Abia states, if we want to be fair. |

Gracchus: That's my problem with these people, they'll do illegal stuff, brag about being untouchable, get caught and beaten up, and still go back to cry marginalization..same happened in south Africa, same happened in ghana.even the Hausa miscreants at fagba were sent packing of recent but you don't see them crying on social media about marginalization, most of them can't even do business in most south south states but they'll come to lagos and be claiming developers. Them no fit try this nonsense for South Africa or even kaduna. 1 Like |
