You're right Franklin passed through hell. That guy has the heart of a lion. His friend with the full hair is Leon.

What happened with Mel could have happened to anybody. I guess that's what the show was trying to establish, especially because Franklin had been trying to convince himself that what was happening in the community wasn't his fault and would have happened either way. He distanced himself emotionally and it wasn't until it happened to Mel that he realised that maybe he was in fact to blame.

I agree with you completely. Mary J. Blige is terrible in this role. She is not usually this bad as I have seen her in one or two other movies before. I dunno what happened with this one. Like you said, same facial expression no matter what emotion she's trying to portray. And she can only express herself by screaming. I guess when they told her she'd be playing the role of a major drug Queenpin, she assumed that the best way to come across as intimidating is by always screaming.

Tariq is wack bro (you guys should not come for my head o, we are only discussing and sharing opinions here). No onscreen presence. He doesn't really sizzle. Some people do not possess the charisma to carry a whole show on their shoulders. E no easy. As such, I also think Cane is a more compelling character and Dru really stepped up in the last episode. His character went from a 4 to an 8.5 real quick.

Last episode of Power has been the best so far and I'm excited to see what comes next.

And yes, Method Man is amazing in his role. He would have been more amazing if they had given him a role as some gangster, he would have totally killed it. He's got that sizzle and juice. However, I think his lawyer character is going to reveal a darker side to himself in due time. Only God knows the game he and Saxe are playing. They definitely don't trust each other and will be looking to outwit each other any way that they can. I don't find that story arc so compelling, but Method Man definitely kills it in the role.

Franklin is crazy, one of the scenes i love most was when Andre confronted him about the rocks, he asked him how does he sleep at night.... Franklin said "Like a baby" and the way he said it ehn. Also the things he was saying to reed when he wanted to make the last negotiation in the last episode. The guy is good

Method Man is my best character in this new season. Mary J Blige is not doing badly as people assume, she is a QueenPin for crying out loud. Look at Camilla in Queen of the South, also mean and doesn't smile often. MJB is playing the role better than Tasha would have done in that position.
And Yes Tariq is beginning to suck!
can't wait to have Tommy Egan back on the scene.
