Electricity isn't cheap and will need precious resources other than money like time.

I stumbled on a Chinese Contractors website on power production components suppliers. And they were expressing gratitude for orders they got for example. I picked few things when I checked the site

1. Nigerian orders were publicised in the glare view if the site and I saw orders some made 3 4 5 years back.

2. I saw large volume of money for parts and orders

3. I noticed large customer serving

You don't need to speak too much grammer. Or tell story.

Insincerely of the past and present government as made them not try to prepare the country for 24/7 electricity. Your explanation is very flawed!

Its more like saying weapons are too expensive so we can't figth bokoharam, hence the cause of insecurity.

Foolishness is when you feel electricity is expensive to get but you want to reform a country economically by asking people to go to farm. ;(
Just like this saying. If knowledge is expensive try ignorance. Thats what we've been trying in this country.
Giving excuses for ignorance

if Yorubas love SS why are Ijaws oil producing community locked in Ondo, , why did Obasanjo not dispose the military constitution than repackaged it to continue concentrating power in the centre as the first president? why was SW championing the fight against GEJ when he tried to bring a new constitution into play Confab14?

At first what do you mean by love? We don't love nobody, everyone fighting for himself. Or are you telling me SS loves Yoruba? undecided

This is politics don't preach love shit to Yoruba's. Do the necessary things and move on.
@ second , obasanjo a military president that lost vote in SW and had more vote in other region, also did little or nothing in southwest was not expected to do more for Nigerians. The igbos and northerners that voted obasanjo should answer that question better.
Besides good luck that was not a military president why didnt he decentralize the power? undecided

@ third good luck gave himself out when he started favoring north and forgetting the southwest, same thing tinubu is doing now, ass licking the north for 2023. Samething Igbo's have been doing since azikwe time till date.
Y'all ass lickers of north.

So the north is playing politics with y'all looking for love instead of political unity

Odi massacre politicizing resource control, Yorubas have no right to request love from SS indigenes. what makes you think am an Igbo man because I confronted you with the obvious truth? there is no unity betwixt us and you know it, the time for unity is far gone. is now politics and personal agendas.

We do not demand love in the first place from nobody. There has never been unity MR man.

What massacre? Was it Yoruba that started the coup that brought us to this useless situation we found ourself?

Who is pointing to you as Igbo? I'm just calling region responsible for the mess we're in but only see Yoruba as the problem.

Everyone as been selfish from beginning but it seems the south east are always envy and playing victim card.

I don't expect love from nobody but my common sense don't do bigot and also don't buy shitty ideas from the present useless men calling themselves Yoruba leaders.
Don't shift any blame every region is a Greedy MFK

Jonathan is a million times better than this current disaster of a president.
And when compared to other SE/SS candidates, many are much better than Jonathan.
GEJ had less unfavourable conditions on his administration hence some people think he's better...Jonathan is no better.

Okay, they're not qualified them let them have their own country and rule themselves.

Wickedness or/and corruption is/are not determined by race or/and tribe.
Furthermore,I don't think there is one solution to Nigeria's problems such as bad roads, terrible power supply, etc.
The manner in which elections happen only show that Nigeria will remain among the under-developed or developing nations.
It's either vote- buying or something worse.
Some will say non-voters are not helping matters.
But why should I vote in the absence of trust?
I think there can only be several solutions to the several problems.
So, those things that cause vote-buying or something worse have to be addressed differently.
Ultimately, the onus is on the political parties to come up with strategies that will encourage more people to vote with less doubts.

How gullible can you be? Politically, you're daft!
Aconomist:
Name the candidates. And to be honest, Jonathan was worse than Buhari. Remember, Jonathan was enjoying oil prices of $80-100 per barrel and still accomplished nothing. $10 billion was missing from the treasury, etc. Another administration like that and Nigeria will collapse.

But why should I vote in the absence of trust?
Because your voting is what puts trust in it. If you do not vote, trust will be absent and no trust, as in nothing, will exist.

The essence of something, your voting which is trust, is determined by the use/application you make if it. If you make no use of it.........

HellVictorinho:

Actually, the onus is on the voting people.

The political parties love when you think its on them because your abrogation of responsibility and lazy indulgence makes you so much more manipulable to their advantage. Its like slaves relying on the benevolence of their master to remove the chains from their necks. He might, one day, but he sooner will if you fight for your freedom, which is what your voting signifies.

Just one you encouraging more people to vote will loosen chains.

If all voters have trust, why do some have to be paid?
If people are compelled to vote, how does the voting signify freedom?
I think people should be convinced to vote for competent candidates.
I don't think they should be compelled to do it by campaigning with food items or 200-500-1000naira.
They know many are wretched so they use those things to make such people vote.

"Compelled to vote with food items or 200-500-1000naira"? So, if you "collect food items or 200-500-1000naira" for your vote, you would say you were compelled like someone put their knee on your throat and made you "collect food items or 200-500-1000naira for your vote? Is it not more true that you sold your vote for a pittance?

They don't just "know many are wretched". They make many wretched so you would be compelled by as little as ₦1000, which is why smart people go out and compel people to vote for them with something better, like a road or a library or less taxation or clean a swamp or protection or even $1000. That, after all, is the essence of voting, to elect people you trust and that mirror your values

Forgive me, but I truly can't understand your attitude to the right to vote that we fought for with blood but I guess you are free to sell your vote for "food items or 200-500-1000naira". Its probably illegal but who cares really, it's your vote. But when you now get say, bubu, and resort to moaning that he is not feeding lazy fuqs, I hope it is remembered one did oneself when one collected "food items or 200-500-1000naira" for one's vote.

We have all seen what a disaster Geoduck Johnathan (the first president from the SS/SE) was. And most of the governors and politicians from the region are hardly better. While the North is a big problem, we must also admit that the SS/SE is not producing politicians qualified to rule the country.

Am I wrong or right? Discuss.
@bolded
You are wrong.
Why must it be a politician?
There are uncountable number of non politicians that could be better leaders across the country.

There is possibility that non politician that interested could be better president.
