John 18:36
"Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”"

Luke 1:
"31And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.
32He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
33And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Your point with John 18:36 & Luke 1:31-33 being what?

Your point with John 18:36 & Luke 1:31-33 being what?

The angel said: Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.
And then Jesus turned it down here:
John 18:36 "Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”"
John 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

write up boss and Merry Christmas to you and yours also.

Thank you for your kind words.
The word recorded in Luke 1:28 charitoō meaning Favour as you stated(also be translated as grace depending on context like in Ephesians 1:6), is a description of a person's attitude and actions toward the one so labeled(in this case, God's attitude towards the recipient of the message). On its own, it says nothing about the character or attitude of the person being favoured.
Favour can be earned but more often than not, the concept of favour is that the person being favoured has a soft spot with the person bestowing it and usually has done nothing inherently to gain it(eg a man showing favour to a fellow kinsman).
The act of showing favour speaks purely of the character and attitude of the one who is bestowing it. This is often the case atleast in the Bible when it pertains to God and humans (God constantly showing favour/grace to undeserving humans). You can do a word study of ḥên(old testament) and God.
This is more evident in the only other place the word charitoō is used in the entire NT.
"to the praise of the glory of His grace(charitos), which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved." - Ephesians 1:6 NASB...
Most English translations also have freely bestowed or given except for KJV and ESV that render it a bit differently. But regardless of which translation chosen, the idea is the same. The charitoō is bestowed purely based on God's will
.

Thanks for your exposition. One thing is clear: All charitoō is given by God. The use of it to mean “grace” or “unmerited favor” is the perspective you have taken. My use of the word is taken from its etymology “charis“, a word that shows that the favored one is more like a child, friend or faithful steward. With charitoō, the favored one is more or less one who didn’t do anything special to be favored e.g a pardoned sinner.

With Abraham, we see God say: for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. The favor (Charis) towards Abraham was because he acted to God’s delight -he obeyed God’s voice.

There's nothing in the NT that says or alludes to the statement that "Mary was the most righteous among all women that walked on the face of the earth".
The idea that there was something inherently different about Mary started out around the early middle ages and became part church tradition(or today, Catholic tradition). We do not even find this in the earliest Christian writings outside of the NT. The shift to Mary being pure, immaculate conception etc began from writings sometime around the 4th AD.

There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” (Prov.31:29)

Maybe I overhyped Mary; but I did it in the light of the verse above. What qualifies one as the ‘most righteous’? Lemuel’s mother has to provide this answer. If it is said about King Hoshea that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him, then there must be acts he did that qualified him to be the best. It is said about Mary that, Blessed is she among women. Of all these and many more characters that the Bible spoke glowingly of, one thing is certain: they began to please God after they believed in His word, and its divine influence upon their heart, reflected in their lives.

"15But my favor will not be taken from him as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from your sight.
16Your house and your kingdom will continue before meb for all time, and your throne will be secure forever.’”
17So Nathan went back to David and told him everything the LORD had said in this vision.
David’s Prayer of Thanks
18Then King David went in and sat before the LORD and prayed,
“Who am I, O Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
19And now, Sovereign LORD, in addition to everything else, you speak of giving your servant a lasting dynasty! Do you deal with everyone this way, O Sovereign LORD?
20“What more can I say to you? You know what your servant is really like, Sovereign LORD.
21Because of your promise and according to your will, you have done all these great things and have made them known to your servant.
22“How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!
23What other nation on earth is like your people Israel? What other nation, O God, have you redeemed from slavery to be your own people? You made a great name for yourself when you redeemed your people from Egypt. You performed awesome miracles and drove out the nations and gods that stood in their way.
24You made Israel your very own people forever, and you, O LORD, became their God.
25“And now, O LORD God, I am your servant; do as you have promised concerning me and my family. Confirm it as a promise that will last forever.
26And may your name be honored forever so that everyone will say, ‘The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is God over Israel!’ And may the house of your servant David continue before you forever.

"Don’t you realize that the LORD, the God of Israel, made a lasting covenant with David,
giving him and his descendants the throne of Israel forever?"

- 2 Chronicles 13:5

"This is the record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ,
the son of David, the son of Abraham:
"
- Matthew 1:1

I am sure you have the biblical sense to know that Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ, God Himself incarnated, did not come to earth primarily for an earthly throne, lmso but that He came down to save from damnation, redeem and reconcile man back to Him.

Now talking about the John 18:36 and John 6:15 verses you referenced, are you saying His kingdom is of this world ni, hmm? What exactly is the point you are trying to make here?

Was There Really a Virgin Birth in the Bible?
The more interesting potential virgin birth, though, comes from Matthew's explanation in Matt 1:22-23. There the text says that the virgin birth of Jesus took place to "fulfill" the prophecy that "the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel." Matthew is paraphrasing Isa 7:14.

But he is quoting a mistranslation. The original Hebrew text of Isa 7:14 is not about a virgin. Rather, the Hebrew used to describe the woman in Isa 7:14 is almah, a word that means "young woman." But then the Septuagint, an early translation of the Hebrew Bible into Greek, took the Hebrew almah and rendered it as the Greek parthenos, which means "virgin."

Source: https://www.bibleodyssey.org/en/people/related-articles/was-there-really-a-virgin-birth-in-the-bible

It means someone does the thinking for you. In Isaiah 7, King Ahaz of Judah was told to ask for an impossibility from God. Now, is it impossible for a young woman to conceive a child with insemination or is it impossible for a virgin to conceive a child without insemination? Whatever answer you give, will set you free.

Interest showing, is the mother of favour. Interest births favour. Showing good interest propels you to finding favour with God. Come near to God and He will come near to you. Show interest in God and God will show interest in you, back too. It's not rocket science.

I am certain that Luke 2:19, is not the first time of Mary treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them. She defo all along had a healthy interest, she is humble, she is compliant and she was first choice.

It is the believing of a preposterous message that endeared Noah and Mary to God. The scripture says: without faith (in the word of God) it is impossible to please God and be satisfactory to Him (Heb. 11:6). Mary believed God’s word, perhaps in the reading of the prophetic texts at the Jerusalem temple, that a virgin would conceive a child - her being the virgin. She believed and it was accounted to her as righteousness (in conformity to God’s will in her thoughts and acts).

27to a virgin pledged in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary.

- Luke 1:26-28

The young woman pledged in marriage is Mary, who obviously because of not yet being married to Joseph is a virgin. Chaste from not yet having sexual relations with any man whatsoever.

"28The angel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
30So the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.
32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,
33and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”
34“How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
35The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
36Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month.
37For no word from God will ever fail.”
38“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her."
- Luke 1:28-38

Though I earlier asked you to explain why you used "a preposterous message
" I think I see now that you used it in the context of believing what to the untrained, inexperienced and having little knowledge will class as ridiculous and so deride, but then the number one qualifier for a human being to receive favour from God is to develop an healthy interest in God and the things of God.

If you have no interest in God and the things of God (e.g. the Kingdom, His will, your purpose in the grand scheme of God's things et cetera) then faith and/or belief will never be on your radar to have.

I am not 100001% sure that Mary, knew her Bible well enough, as much as the woman with the issue of blood, who knew about the scripture that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment (i.e. the loose flowing end) she shall be made whole and receive her healing and all this from knowing about Malachi 4:2. Praise God. Alleluia

As she buckled at Luke 1:34 with saying "How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”, it is to her credit and fair play to her for recovering when the angel worked on her enough to ginger up her faith. She was after all a virgin nah, so should have known straight up that she is the right candidate for such a time and thing as that.

No, I know not of any contradictions in the bible and I am not aware that, there are contradictions in the bible too.

With the greatest respect Brock/1, I beg, oftentimes what seemingly are thought to be contradictions, arent at all contradictions. They largely are phantom Bible contradictions

You can test its validity by checking on its truthfulness, its trustworthiness, its track record, fulfilled prophecies et cetera

MuttleyLaff:
[s]No, on contrary, I want others to 2 Timothy 2:15 fact check everything I share so that we can Bob the Builder and Proverbs 27:17 each other.[/s]

You should have known that the scripture you quoted is centred around the divine and human side of Jesus, dealing with fulfilling the prophecy that that kingship will remain forever in David's dynasty.

Do you at all understand the dynamics of what was going on in the earlier shared Matthew 22:41-46 above, hmm?

Do you understand the scripture below. Better to say you don't than to just make up an answer you don't know.

Isaiah 53:10
Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

Affirmative, I fully understand the Isaiah 53:10 scripture, so now whats your point about Isaiah 53:10 then. What's the point you are trying to make with Isaiah 53:10?

Is you others are doing your thinking for. The Bible was written by men not by God that's why there are so many contradictions, untill you realise this you can never set yourself free.

The bolden is the creed of your heart. I pray that the Lord of Grace sprays His love upon your heart through His Spirit in Christ. May He cause the pages of the book of life to have inscribed upon it your name. May He cause your heart to believe the good news that all men may approach God by the Blood of Jesus. That the divine influence of His word may cause you to speak of the goodness of God to tens of thousands.

I pray this in Christ’s name.

You can shove your insincere and hollow thank you, back to where the sun dont shine that it came out from

Please give me a shoving tool. I’d appreciate it

"[sup]28The angel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored!
- Luke 1:28-38[/sup]

She was after all a virgin nah, so should have known straight up that she is the right candidate for such as time and thing as that.

We thank God that ministering spirits are given to us to strengthen us when our faith wavers and we are without understanding. I pray that when God decides to perform an earth shaking event, we would be the best beacon to which He would declare His counsel.

... I know not of any contradictions in the bible and I am not aware that, there are contradictions in the bible too.

With the greatest respect ... oftentimes what seemingly are thought to be contradictions, arent at all contradictions. They largely are phantom Bible contradictions

You can test its validity by checking on its truthfulness, its trustworthiness, its track record, fulfilled prophecies etcetera

MuttleyLaff:
... I have given you an opportunity to shine, by asking you to give me your best shot, out of all your, the seemingly inconsistencies and alleged contradictions in the Bible, if it wont be explained to you.

C'mon, bring it on, why the sudden cold feet, hmm?

MuttleyLaff:
With the greatest respect, I beg ...

Oftentimes what seemingly are thought to be contradictions, arent at all contradictions. Whenever you think you're facing a contradiction, do the Berean angle like you've mentioned to check your premise.

I'll be very intrigued if you can list what you've realised dont add up. I must admit and warn you though, that sometimes 1+1 doesnt equal 2

MuttleyLaff:
...Nah, no, not another Bible contradiction, that's just your ''m.o.''
This is another of your phantom Bible contradictions
and you pursuing a mistaken belief and misguided line of thought, that, it is another Bible contradiction
Nitpicking, just for mere nitpicking sake, is not healthy

The Qur'an explained the reason.
According to the Qur'an, Mary's mother, Hannan prayed for a child until Allah answered her with a daughter, she was somehow disappointed as Son was the pride then. Her mother , Hannan was Pious, so she prayed to Allah to help him make her daughter(Mary) one of the purest and pious which Allah made.

“So when she brought forth, she said, My Lord! Surely I have brought forth a female- and Allah knows best what she brought forth- and the male is not like the female, and I have named it Maryam, and I command her and her offspring into Thy protection from the accused Satan.” (3:36) .

The purification of Mary isn't just that she's a virgin.
According to prophet Muhammad, she's never been touched by any Man. Yes, the physical touch.
